Wonderful location and building, restaurants are delicious, pools are well designed, beach front access, and the staff is superb; would highly recommend staying here on your next trip.

All I can say is it was wonderful! I hate to leave. The best and friendliest staff that I have ever encountered. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and had beautiful views. The grounds were immaculate. The beach was fantastic and not crowded at all. Lots of activities for all. Courtesy cars were available for local area.

Just spent a week here. Absolutely fantastic! Room was amazing, experience was unforgettable. All the staff were so nice and accommodation. Food was crazy expensive and just soso with the exception of the pastries, they were to die for. Pools were a perfect mix one for fun and one for quiet. Nice small beach at the hotel, amazing beaches close by. I bet we stay here again next time.

The property and room are in very nice condition. It's easy to tell that the staff take great care of the space. There are multiple pools to visit (one of which does not allow kids) along with an incredible beach front which is relatively quiet and offers spectacular views. We didn't stay long enough to eat at all if the restaurants on the grounds but the breakfast was great and the fish tacos at the restaurant by the pool were delicious.

Our room was very spacious and appeared to be clean and well maintained. Nothing to complain about here. We will be staying here on our next visit to Maui.

This is a beautiful resort. Rooms are wonderfully appointed & have those perfect views of paradise. Perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The grounds are torchlit at night & there is a scenic beachwalk path from the Fairmount north past the other major resort & beach areas. From the moment we arrived, their team exhibited great hospitality. Down to the housekeeper knowing us by name & helping us with a special request. Their front desk has a texting system to conveniently get info or reservations through the concierge. Nice variety of pools & hot tubs around property. Fun, free extras like spear throwing lessons & the not-to-be missed Hawaiian outrigger canoe experience. Ralph the canoe guy took us down diving at the midway point to find a turtle, baby octopus & a starfish. The biggest downside is the cost of meals (breakfast buffet at $49 but have to admit it was amazing). If you're in a budget, there is a grab n go place with some breakfast pastries & sandwiches (pizzas later). On-site food service is all pretty much closed by 10 (maybe 11 for in-room) so caution with evening arrivals. But with a fridge in the room, you have options. We hit the local International ABC store for some great takeaway food & enjoyed local places as well as up in Kihei. Great snorkeling here (better 10-20 minutes south but very good for a resort area!) and the snorkel masks are free on-site for first hour. Would love to come back!

I love this place the staff makes every guests feel welcome. The hotel room was immaculate. The room service was prompt and delicious. It’s a short walk to Polo Beach where I enjoyed the sunset almost everyday during my stay.

Have not visited the resort yet, but writing this review specifically for two staff members that went above and beyond to help us out with our reservation changes. Sandy Su and Brittany Viloria were both so helpful and genuinely so caring about the changes in our travel plans. They accommodated us with the changes despite constraints and truly shower excellent customer service. We are so excited for our stay there! Thank you Sandy and Victoria!

The Fairmont in Maui is well taken care of. It is very clean, both the rooms and the common areas. All staff are friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond. The grounds are beautiful. I enjoyed it very much. October 2021.

Fantastic hotel, with amazing location, great suites, and a lot of acreage.

We stayed at Kea Lani Fairmont in September, and it was an amazing experience. Fairmont service is top-notch. And Kea Lani resort has all the best facilities:
- large rooms, 880 sq foot, with 5 separate areas: (a) entrance / foyer with microwave, fridge, coffe-maker; (b) living room area, with TV, sitting area, couch that also has a pull-out bed; (c) fairly large-size bedroom with separate closets, TV, nice storage space; (d) large bathroom with stand-in shower area, large tub, double-sinks, and a toilet room, and last but not least: (e) a fairly large and comfortable lanai.

Hotel is quite large, and has multiple pools. Our favorite was the adult pool, which has saline (not chlorine). Adult pool area is quiet, well positioned, gets a lot of sun, but also has a ton of umbrellas. It was never busy, as couples come and go. At the same time, there are enough people there so that you don't feel isolated. Great poolside service.

There are two other pools, one of which is located a "floor" higher. From this pool, you can launch into the water slide, and this pool was mostly utilized by adults (and occasional families).

There is also a ton of sun-bathing areas, not directly adjacent to the pools.

The food is great. We tried both Ko and Nick's fishmarket. And the breakfast spread is awesome. It is $49 per person (plus tax and tip), and provides a lot of food. Examples: aki poke, steak, a ton of fruit. A ton of veggies, omeletes and eggs, bacon (two kinds), etc. You can pre-pay the buffet for every day at the cost of $40 (includes tax and tip).

Beach-front is great, and better than almost any other hotel in the Wailea hotel zone.

In the Wailea hotel zone, from south to north, you have: Fairmont Kea Lani, some condo called Wailea Point, Four Seasons, Grand Wailea (Waldorf), some other condos, then Marriott Vacation club, and then lastly, Andaz. There is a beach-walk all the way from Fairmont Kea Lani to Andaz. A lot of people walked and ran on that beach-walk, mostly in the morning hours and after sun is down (4: 30 pm).

I think Fairmont Kea Lani has a lot of advantages over nearby hotels. For example, the Four Seasons next door is: (1) more expensive, (2) has smaller rooms, and (3) has less space by pool-side, and feels a lot more crowded, and (4) has more snobbish guests. Fairmont guests are very nice and friendly. Andaz feels like tiny condos, and when you see the building, it is just not as spacious. Can't comment for the few condo communities, but those are large villas, and probably cost 2-3x the Fairmont room rates.

Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Fairmont when choosing a Wailea ocean-front hotel property. It is simply the best: in value, space, service, and friendliness.

5 stars for Faimont Kea Lani.

Went there on my first trip to Maui in 2015. Hands down the most beautiful resort in Wailea. I highly recommend you head straight to the bar and grab a Mai Tai up on your arrival of course after getting lei'd upon your arrival

Wonderful property! Great food and drinks with a true variety. The courtesy car for short trips was worth its weight in gold. Such a nice feature that was convenient and helpful. Also provided good recommendations. The beach walk was incredible and fun. Relaxing and lots of nice shops are on property or walkable via the beach walk. Three pools! Swim up bar! Water slide! The water slide was extra nice. Fun for all ages. Gotta mention how helpful and friendly all the staff is. They provide a truly premium experience. Such a privilege to stay here and I will be very excited to return in the future. Cheers!

It was our first time in Maui and at this hotel, and we were very pleased and happy with the service and our overall stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a beautiful balcony where we watched sunrise every morning while having a cup of coffee. The different pools are very nice, and there’s a variety for different people and preferences. The beach was beautiful, and it was the perfect place to watch and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Nicole and Colette from the concierge provided us with great tips and suggestions. Sylvia and Christine were amazing at Ko (one of the hotel restaurants). And Nilda from housekeeping was very lovely and helpful in the evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Maui!

Beautiful hotel, great for families. Upgraded to an ocean view room which was fantastic. They have kayaks and paddle boards for rent at the beach. The pools are lovely, but at the non-adult pool there are limited seats, and many do not have umbrellas. Of course they seem to have plenty of cabanas, for the "low" price of $299. Personally that's an insane amount of money to sit at a pool per day! Also the cabanas are like giant tents that block any sort of view for everyone else at the pool. Aside from the cabana drama, everything else was great!

Let me start be saying that we stay at the Fairmonts and picked it because we have enjoyed them. We were checked in by guest services when we arrived, around 5pm on 9/2. There was no one in front of us or behind us in line, and she acted as if we were an inconvenience to her. She gave us our key and said to enjoy the stay - but we then asked where the room was, she said down 'the hallway behind you'. We followed up by an inquiry for a map, her response was a deep breath and here. When my wife asked where we were, she pointed to the star on the map with no words.very disappointing. The rest of the stay, staff referenced information that we should have received at check-in.
The Avis staff was great - best customer service of the resort. Walked us to the car, gave us options.

The resort itself is dated (pool and furniture included) and worn. The couch in the hotel room is small and uncomfortable, to the point you watch tv in bed. The best part of the pool is the swim up bar.

We booked at the spa and they sent an form that had to be filled out in advance of the appointment. Once we arrived and changed into the robs, we sat in a waiting room with 2 other couples. The massage therapists called men and women from different couples - everyone's appointments were messed up and rooms and forms where lost. The massages started late for everyone but the massage itself was fine - typically resort spa massage.

This resort was 5 stars from the beginning! Webstsyedbfirb1week in a corner suite. One great feature was the ability to text our needs and request to the front desk. They were responsive and ready to communicate back. The staff was helpful and friendly. Nicole in guest services gave us fantastic and accurate information about Twin Falls and the Road to Hana. Her knowledge helped us better prepare for our hiking trip. The in-room service was fantastic as well. The wait staff was eager to help showed Hawaiian hospitality. There were a few times our order was missing items but they quickly resolved the issue. One small problem was the air conditioning unit. The unit was loud. Now it was like white noise for me but I could see someone being unhappy about the noise. Otherwise, everything was WONDERFUL!
