My 13 yr old son and I took a class from Loa. He was great and took time with us on land and in the water to make sure we were comfortable on our boards. I had gone surfing 20 years ago on my honeymoon, and Loa got my 51-yr-old butt back up on that board and was able to help me and my son catch many waves! I wasn’t super graceful, but we managed to partially stand up a bit. There is nothing quite like the feeling of having the surf pull you to shore! Thanks Loa! Mahalo!
This is hands down the best place to rent a longboard. I have rented here on numerous occasions and the staff have always been extremely friendly and laid back. Their boards are in great shape versus other rental places, and they provide extra wax for your surf. I appreciated that they also don't count the minutes so that you feel pressured to get in by a certain time to avoid additional charge. This place is top notch!
SUP rental is $30 plus tax per hour. It was 20 dollars when I made a reservation on the website, but it was 30 dollars when I went directly because the reservation period had passed. Card payment accepted. By the way, when I asked if it was possible to rent it by phone on the day, I was told that it was full, but when I went directly, it was available. Perhaps my English was bad, so it was a sloppy response. The SUP board itself is good, but there is no leash cord, so be careful when surfing.
By the way, when I went offshore, I could see sea turtles, so it is the real pleasure of SUP with a high viewpoint ^ ^

Very accommodating. Very clear on what to expect. Kept our property safe while we were on water. Communicated with us as necessary. Would recommend to anyone. Really fun! Suggestion, do a better job finding parking than we did!
