Delicious food, outdoor picnic table seating.we had fun with the chickens in the yard and found the baby chick's to be absolutely adorable. Service was fast, portions very generous. Fresh and tasty! Great location.

The fish taco is made with delicious local fresh fish cooked wonderfully and with a savory complementary sauce. The restaurant is overseen by a magical mountain.

Oh my goodness, this Mexican restaurant was absolutely amazing! The food was so delicious and the flavors were out of this world. The service was top-notch too, with friendly staff who made me feel right at home. I have to say, the tacos were the highlight of the meal. They were packed with flavor and the meat was so tender and juicy. And let's not forget about the guacamole and salsa - they were the perfect accompaniments to the meal.
We also got the chicken quesadilla, loved it!
I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're craving some mouthwatering Mexican cuisine

Portions were decent sized but really mediocre food across the board

My first time at eating street tacos, nummy! I had chicken the first night, steak the second. I like steak the waitress was awesome. She even remembered my granddaughters name.

After a morning of snorkeling, we decided to go for a little food trip. This was one of the stop. My wife and I shared the 3 Taco plate. We had other stops to make. This gave us an option to try three different meat…had the fish, carne asada and chicken. All were good and flavorful. Service was friendly and food didn’t take long.

They have seatings inside but there are picnic tables outside to enjoy the Hawaiian weather. Parking is scattered around the area but many of the parking lots were full.

Oh and you’ll find roosters walking around.

The carne asada taco was excellent! The fish taco was a little dry and the soft shell crab tacos were pretty tasty. I also really enjoyed the refried beans and rice. The prices were decent. Definitely check out this place if you are in the area!

Not great for the price. Very disappointing, would not recommend- they don’t even have hot sauce (Tabasco or cholula) to go along with your meal.

Really not good.burrito drowning in sauce.it opened before I even ate it it fell everywhere it wasn't good 15 dollars for that plus the tip it's terrible

Asked for gluten free because I have celiac. Asked them 3 times if it was gluten free and they said that it was. Then I asked if it’s cooked in the same fryer and grill with flour and it was. They remade it on another grill but only after asking but I was nervous because they don’t have a grasp on food allergies

We picked this spot kind of at random for lunch in Hanalei. What a treat - the prices cannot be beat, and neither can the food. An absolutely fabulous place to eat.

We had carne Asada and Carnitas tacos and I must say they were absolutely scrumptious

I would highly recommend this place for just a quick Mexican dinner, primarily the tacos with corn tortillas that were fried

How can you have a better atmosphere than having the back drop of the green mountains! Fredrick’s good did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Seafood flautas. Piping hot, full of deliciousness. The shrimp inside were marinated and cooked to perfection, as well as the fish inside. Add the fresh salad, pico and it was magic. Burger was good too, with a lot of tasty grilled onions. Plus they have Dr. Pepper and friendly staff with much aloha!

Great vegan options! I had the blackened mushroom & tofu tacos with a side of rice and beans. They were so delicious and the staff were so kind. Vegan food is hard to come by in Hanalei, Kauai and this was a blessing to have this food.

Honestly, chicken taco was really good, and the fish tacos were incredible. Food didn’t take long and the lady taking our order was super friendly and a lot of fun! Definitely going to be back!
