They are open! If you are still on the west side, get out there and support a local business! The food was 12 out of 10. I had the fish burrito. I also recommend the mango salsa, I want to bathe in that stuff, so good!

My favorite restaurant at home has a flounder BLT that I always get, so I chose the shrimp BLT at this place. It was OUTSTANDING!

Went July 2022 - this was one of our best meals on the island. I recommend trying the local catch of the day. You won't be disappointed!

Fresh fish very good service, a little over priced. I got 1 pound of fresh Mahi Mahi for about 40$.

Very pricey, $7 for one small fish taco. Fish and chips just Ok. Crab cake was really good. But if you want to grab and eat there, good luck. With 3 small table outside and 5 chairs, few seating inside. Very disappointed. However they do have fresh fish if you want to cook at home.

We used to buy fresh fish here all the time, but it has just become too expensive. Went there yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to find Opakapaka, but it was $46 a pound! They don't even have type/price labels in the display any more. Probably know they'll scare people off. I bought some for a special occasion, and it was delicious, but won't come back soon.

WORTH IT! I spent $90 and was shocked at first. I had been buying my fish and meats at a local grocery store and my last steak was awful so I decided to go for quality or deals and they delivered. Best Kajiki I've ever had. Plus, I got three giant blue marlin fillets, a filet that is sashimi quality for appetizer for raw appreciation of the fish, and then also a giant container of pineapple salsa. I took it home and simply seared it with salt and lemon, it was so flavorful and had beautiful texture. The pineapple salsa was perfect on the fish and just as an appetizer while we were cooking and eating chips. I came into the fish counter after work so the variety was slim but the filet quality was all very high. I will definitely be making an effort to get there earlier and try all they have to offer. Thank you guys so much!

Have been coming here for years. You can't go wrong with any of the fresh caught fish here, the poke is phenomenal and you always gotta have one of the oyster shooters. My go to is a shrimp burrito which never disappoints but sadly the grilled fish tacos on the last visit were dried out and not what they once were, could have been a fluke. Nonetheless it is a must when visiting Maui!

OH MY GOSH! My 2 favorite foods!

The crab cake is sooo meaty and the sauce they serve with it is DELICIOUS! I got it as a add on! Totally worth it! It has mac nuts inside! I kinda like it!

The coconut shrimp is also the best I have ever had! Other coconut shrimps are usually way too battered but this one is meaty and perfectly made! The sauce compliments the coconut shrimp as well! The coconut taste is ON POINT! They fries are perfectly fried as well! Nice & crispy!

I can eat here everyday until I fly home!

It’s okay? Kinda bland honestly. Got the seafood special because they ran out of poke. The only flavor in the seafood was the charred parts. Front counter lady was rude. Kinda disappointed because all the good reviews hyped me up.

Maui Tacos is a fish taco restaurant in Lahaina, Maui. The fish tacos are generously stuffed, and the fish is cooked to perfection. There is plenty on the menu for everyone, including seafood, salads, and sandwiches. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is laid-back. However, I would not give this restaurant a 5-star rating. The fish tacos are good, but they are not the best fish tacos I have ever had. The rice and mac salad were also a bit bland. Additionally, the prices are a bit high for what you get. Overall, Maui Tacos is a good place to get fish, but it is not the best fish taco restaurant on Maui. I would give it a 3-star rating.

Visited this place recently while on vacation. It was just down the street from our resort and oh me oh my, we should have come sooner!

I ended up getting the grilled mahi mahi burrito and it was absolutely fantastic. Not sure if you're a fish fan or not, but even if you're not, you should give this a try (you should try mahi mahi anytime!) but it was grilled perfectly for this burrito. Not fishy at all. Very flaky and flavorful. I wouldn't want to offend the mahi mahi by saying it tasted like chicken, but if you're looking for a very meaty but not fishy fish, this is it!

The rest of the ingredients in the burrito were just right as well. Fresh lettuce, cabbage, some pico de gallo and they also put this delicious chipotle cream sauce in it. I also got a little more on the side for dipping, so, so good!

My wife got fried mahi mahi nuggets if I remember correctly and they were very good as well.

Great little spot but unfortunately came too late and there was no more Poke. All good though, had the Seafood Special of the day, Crab Cake and the kids had the Cheese Quesadilla.all were very tasty. Service was awesome as well. Enjoy.

This place may have changed my life. IT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We've been eating here for years and love it so much that we actually rent a condo nearby to make having lunch there easier! The food is delicious! I love all of their dishes and have never been so excited to see what's on a restaurant's special menu. On top of great food, their service is always amazing. We appreciate The Fish Market so much and are really happy they survived the pandemic.

I live down the street from this restaurant and although the food is good, recently it has gotten so busy that it takes up to 45 mins just for a taco. If you are looking for something with quicker service, I’d look elsewhere.
*Edit* Waited over 45 mins for 2 fish tacos and never got them. When we went up to ask they said they lost the ticket. No offer for a discount or anything. Definitely check out some of the other spots near by.
