Very interesting and informative tour of this coffee farm and property that has been owned/operated for generations by the same family. Large variety of free coffee samples and an abundant selection of beans for sale. I will never look at coffee the same after learning the process of grafting-growing-processing. Highly recommend this FREE tour!

Free tour was great. The owner (I think) was very knowledgeable. Free tastings and she made a french press of a coffee if not available to taste.

Such a lovely place to visit. The tours are fun and informative and the property is beautiful with plenty of places to sit and relax. The free samples of their coffee is fun to try and makes deciding which type to purchase a lot easier. A little pricy but worth it for 100% Kona coffee.

I love this place! Their coffee is amazing! I would recommend staying for the tour. You learn so much about the history of Kona coffee. And the farm offers free samples of all their coffees. You won't be disappointed!

Greenwell Farms had a fantastic tour of a Kona coffee farm. The main building was housed under an immense umbrella tree. They had free samples of coffee, ice cream and coffee beans for sale. You could tell that they were proud and passionate about their coffee. Bonus, they were open on a Sunday when many other places are closed! You will not be disappointed!

You'll never know how much you don't know about growing coffee and coffee production until you take this free (yes, free) tour. Knowledgeable, thorough guides walk, talk and show you how coffee gets to your cup. This farm also boasts fruit and spice trees-banana, orange, papaya, avocado, vanilla, pepper, etc. Following the tour, you can purchase gifts, coffee, fruit in their gift area. Oh, you can also sample ALL of their coffee flavors. You should NOT miss this educational and taste provocative activity!

Very nice place. This farm grew more than coffee. They also raised mango, bananas, avocado, and even pepper corns. Lots of free coffee samples and flavors. They showed the whole process of harvesting coffee, picking, processing, and roasting.

Took free tour. Very informative. Hiroshio was informative tour guide. Tour was about 40 minutes. Purchased Chocolate Macadamia Nut coffee. Pleasant surprise was a very large avocado purchased for $1.00 dollar. Very tasty and went well with breakfast!

Run by a family of Old Hawaii, producing some of the world's best coffee. Smooth, balanced, Kona coffee. Small/Medium sized coffee farmers in Jamaica's Blue Mountains told me they look to Greenwell Farms operations for inspiration!

Our tour guide Olivia was fabulous and the tour exceeded all of our expectations considering it’s free! The tour lasted about 45min and we toured the various steps from coffee cherry to the actual bean. The coffee sample was also super fun to try out.

This stop wasn't on our original itinerary, but when snorkeling got rained out, we had some time to kill. And I'm so glad we stopped. We arrived at 3: 10 and noticed that we had missed the last tour (which is free) so were just going to enjoy free samples (coffee on a cloudy day- how can you go wrong?) and gift shop, but then another couple came in after us asking about tour and one of the guys offered to walk them out to join group so we tagged along. This farm has 100+ yr old coffee trees! I learned so much about the process and history of coffee that though I'm just a yuban drinking coffee gal, I feel so much more appreciation for coffee. Guide was animated, patient, and thorough.

Greenwell Farms Coffee offers free tours and tasting of their 100% Kona coffee. It was fun to see the coffee process on a working coffee farm. Chocolate Macadamia was the flavor of choice among our group. Thanks Peekaboo for giving us the tour. I’d love to see the process of removing the beans from the trees but there wasn’t a chance to do that. I also ordered some ice cream from Greenwell Farms which was delicious. Greenwell Farms, thanks. I’m glad we could support local.

The farm is beautiful, Olivia was our guide and she is knowledgeable. Farm also cultivates oranges & avocados, peppercorns, vanilla beans. You can find a lot of chameleons in the trees so look out for them

A favorite stop on our trips to the Big Island. Enjoyed the tours we have taken there, very informative. Also easy to use online ordering to ship directly back home.
