I wanted to say Mahalo Haleakala Solar & Roofing for coming through to installing a Photovoltaic system for one of my clients! I was working with one of my clients & she shared how expensive her electricity bill was getting with HECO. I mentioned to her that I made an investment & installed Photovoltaic panels through Haleakala Solar & Roofing. Their team was professional & efficient because time was an essence to receive Federal credits, get an approved loan & to organize with HECO. In no time the system was up & running. My client was interested, so I got on the phone to help make that connection with Haleakala Solar & Roofing & eventually her photovoltaic system reduced her electricity after making proper adjustments. Then later on I received a $500 referral gift from Haleakala Solar & Roofing.

This is the third time I used them and once again they did a great job expanding my solar network.

This is a fraudulent company. They closed shop on kaua'i and now refuse to warranty any work they have done here. They had no problem taking the money of local on kaua'i. Terrible service, incomplete installation and now bo warranty for any of their products. How is this company allowed to do business in the state?

Solar battery never installed. They don't assume responsibility and blame it in the city. I am fed up with lack of service and communication.

Very poor service, solar PV system. In and outof bankrupcy, long delays. Not a reliable company. Once finally installed seems ok, but equipment problems after less than 1 year.

Outstanding experience with new roof and solar water heating system! Top quality materials and installation. Barry Brand did a thorough estimate. Operations Manager Robert Muraoka was patient, timely and responsive to our concerns. Installers, especially Patrick, Dino and JP were conscientious in their workmanship and attention to detail. Juvie was excellent in communicating and coordinating! We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Haleakala Solar!

We used Haleakala for both water and PV and have been very happy with their service. They are responsive and quick to remediate issues.

This company at the time solar was blowing up on Kauai tried to operate a business with not much professional training or workers, couldn’t handle the high volume of work, instead smash and grab jobs, left people hanging and did very poor work around the island and when things caught up with them they jumped ship and sold the company all the while people were still waiting and new owners came in to wipe up the mess that was left for them, did so and then ended doing business on Kauai but the name on local television still exists on commercial’s on other islands. What this company did on Kauai, they shouldn’t be doing business anymore! I do not recommend this company because of the name and the bad experience me and the island of Kauai had to deal with.

This company is the best. They installed my rooftop solar system 10 years ago. Last week one of 12 inverters failed with 4 months to go on the 10 year parts and labor warranty. They sent someone out immediately
to replace the inverter at no charge.

I have had Tim replace three roofs at different homes over the years. I was a bit apprehensive recently when I was made aware of issues with an off island owner. That issue is over with and the roof, the service and the job done was excellent. Above and beyond from start to finish.

I have used haleakala solar to install a new roof on my house in hawaii kai very professional and quality work removed old monier tile installed new plywood and underlayment as my monier roof had no underlayment what so ever thank you i also installed a new solar hot water system and new photovoltaic system with 44 panels and 4 lg chem 9.8 kvw batteries i am very happy with my system and roof i want to thank haleakala for there awesome work and super fast response time to all my questions and emails thank you megan and travis i am truly a happy customer

Do not give your money to these folks. They are not local. They are California and their parent company has already filed for bankruptcy. This project took 7 months to finish and another 3 before it could be turned on. The output is pathetic and had I known how poor the power generation would be I would have just kept paying HECO.

It was a pleasure getting to know the whole crew.very friendly, very respectful.the job was really quick questions were answered on the spot and I would definitely refer Haleakala solar to friends and families. Mahalo
