Took me surfing (2 hour surf lesson). 30 minutes is spent on the land practicing the stance and that really helped me. Once I got to the water I was able to stand up quick. The instructor was awesome, 10/10 experience and the prices are affordable

I had an incredible experience with the team at Hans Hedemann Surf School. They were able to teach me how to ride waves during my very first time on a surfboard! Niko was my instructor for a private one-on-one lesson and he was absolutely fantastic. He provided me with excellent on-the-spot guidance and was very hands-on throughout the lesson, allowing me to make adjustments and improve my skills.

My hubby and I hit the waves with a rad instructor from the Hans school, and oh boy, did we have a blast! I was pretty anxious about surfing, being no queen of coordination or athleticism, but with Kalani (our teacher, I think) by our side, I was able to ride that board like a boss! He was super patient and explained everything so well, that we felt like pros in no time. We even got to spend heaps of time in the water and the price for the private lesson was unbeatable. Trust me, if you're on the fence about surfing, give these guys a go - it was hands down the highlight of our Hawaii vacay!

I recently took surf lessons with a private instructor and I swear, this guy was like a guru. He was able to read my mind and tailor the lesson to my exact skill level. With his guidance, I felt like I could ride the waves to the moon and back. Plus, the gear was straight out of a pro surfer's closet - no shoddy equipment here! I highly recommend this private surf lesson for anyone who wants to feel like they're hanging ten with the big dogs.

Learning to surf in Oahu was a dream come true. The sandy beaches and warm weather set the scene for an amazing day of surfing. The instructors were friendly and supportive, and helped me improve my skills quickly. I never thought I'd be able to catch a wave, but with their help, I did it! I can't wait to come back and surf in Oahu again.

I had the most epic experience at the North Shore! I lucked out and got a private lesson from the surfing legend himself, Hans, with only a day's notice! Hans is such a rad teacher - super knowledgeable and caring. I'm not exactly Michael Phelps, so I was a little nervous about hitting the waves, but Hans was so chill and patient with me. We got started in no time and it was a total blast! Every time I ate it on the board, Hans gave me one quick tip and I was back up and riding the waves like a pro in no time! It was a little bit of trial and error, but I'm stoked I took the plunge! I can't thank Hans enough for the totally tubular lesson and I totally recommend it to anyone looking to catch some waves!

Bai The highlight of the experience was definitely the videos they took using drones. Seeing myself catch a wave from a bird's eye view was simply phenomenal. It's a memory I'll cherish forever!

Okay, so I was low-key nervous about taking a surf lesson, but these guys put me totally at ease. They were funny and easygoing, and made learning to surf feel like hanging out with some friends. Plus, they gave me some sick pointers on how to improve my technique. Definitely recommend.

These surf classes are the bee's knees for beginners and intermediate surfers alike! Our class was packed with people of all levels, but no worries, our instructors Peter and Hans had everyone covered. My partner and I had never caught a wave before, but with their top-notch advice and buckets of patience, we made waves (literally). We had an absolute blast, dude!

Oh, and if you're thinking about it, go ahead and splurge on the drone package. The video is primo quality and is perfect for bragging to your buds or seeing where you can brush up for next time. Cowabunga!
