We got there 805 pm. They seated us at 840pm. Took our order for 5 of us. Told us 2 out of 5 things we ordered were out. Waited 20 minutes. 3 orders came out. My daughter"s did not. Waitress came back 5 minutes later and was told us ran out of ribs. Waitress went out to see what was available and we were told kitchen was closed.
Were staying at resort, no other resturants available in area and not even a thought that my daughter would not eat anything. Very bad service and lack of caring. Very dissappointed.

Yeah, well first off the hostess went out of her way above and beyond to get us seated even though there was a huge wait and the food was awesome and the music was jammin. Nice sunset to we loved it.

By far, one of the coolest places I've been. A true gem for the area. Classy, amazing scenery, great drink options, wonderful service, nice live music. But get there early since there are no reservations.

We shared appetizers and had a delicious cocktail, Tropical Mojito! The Coconut Shrimp were very good, Beet and Kale Salad, and Ribs were super flavorful. The atmosphere is casual and gorgeous views. While it is not a sunset into the ocean, as it dips behind the mountains it can create a beautiful sky, and definitely worth being there at that time of day.

Fantastic view, fair prices. We enjoyed everything we tried! Very fast service as well. Beer battered mahi mahi was the best.

This is a very popular establishment, located just off the lobby area of the Hanalei Bay Resort. We arrived at 7PM and a lot of other people had the same idea for dinner as we did. The wait for a table was one hour.
I liked the wait list feature, once they have your name and cell number, you can actually look at the list and see how it is progressing. It was good to see the tables turning over and our name moving up on the list.
The food and drinks were very good, and the portions were large. Our server, Rylie, was very good. The noise level was high, as it is an open area with a bar in the middle.

View was stunning. Servers were all very sweet. Hostess was very helpful. TVs had the Padres game on which was awesome. Drinks are not weak. Typical bar/lounge food

Best cocktails we had all trip! I tried the strawberry lava flow and the mojito and both were amazing. The poke bowl and the loco-moco were delicious as well. There was live music going and contributed to the fun atmosphere here!

We really wanted to go here and have a Pussers Painkiller and possibly have dinner but it looked like all the parking was reserved for resort guests. It wasn’t welcoming enough to inquirer where “outsiders” could park. We went to a locals place instead.

Okay I love this place. We went during happy hour with my one year old nephew in tow. To start we had a Mai Tai, a Mangopeña shot, and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot because i wanted the souvenir shot glasses. I really as not a big alcohol person so the CinnamonTC shot was the one that Nicole recommended to not taste it- and it was really good! Appetizers we ordered: coconut shrimp, which was delicious even though I don’t like coconut, served with a sweet habanero sauce (no spice whatsoever), as well as shrimp ceviche which I inhaled rather quickly. The only critique there is the chips needed salt. For entrees my sister in law ordered the grilled MahiMahi tacos, which looked SO good and I mildly regret not ordering. My Brother and I both ordered the Volcano Poke (pictured), and I can confidently say that was amazing, and they don’t skimp on the poke! I was already full but…when in Hawaii, so we ordered the chocolate lava cake as a dessert. Zero complaints, the wait staff was super on top of it and the place is gorgeous. We walked around a little bit afterward and it’s a gorgeous place.

We ate at the bar and the bartender was great A live band was playing at the other end of the restaurant. The food was well presented and tasted great!

The music was nice. The host was very friendly and even remembered my name when I revisited the restaurant. The food was always good especially the loko moko. The wait is a bit long, but I passed it by walking around the resort around the restaurant.

Excellent atmosphere. Beautiful people and beautiful place. Good food. Loved the cool breeze and the wine. Valeria is awesome. Very enterprising. I had a great birthday and honeymoon dinner.

Loved the view, the super friendly waitress and the vibe of the place - 5 stars for those for sure. The food, however, was not that super delicious, but it was good, nothing specific to complain about, but I've had much better poke in other places on the island. The burger was also just ok.

Watered down cocktails, warmed up processed food, and a waitress who clearly lost our order. Two and a half hours that I will never get back.

There were empty seats at the bar but we were told they were being “saved” on Monday night. Meanwhile Sunday night with just as long of a wait for 2 there were open spots at the bar and we immediately sat with no seats being “saved. ” Quite the double standard clearly.

We had dinner at Happy Talk on Oct. 28. Sunset views were incredible. We sat down just in time to order drinks & pupus at happy hour prices.

The tropical cocktails were very good as were the coconut shrimp. For dinner we had a mahi sandwich (every good) and the ribs. Opinion on the ribs was 50/50, as in one vote for good, one vote for cardboard covered in sauce. But that was the only less than great thing about our dinner.

Service was amazingly fast. The food came out very quickly. Sophia was a great waitress.

Overall a 4 out of 5, with the problematic ribs knocking it down one step.
