Excellent customer service. The guy who helped me in the plumbing department was very helpful and kind.

We replaced 13 screens, including 3 eight foot high sliding screens. David was the screen master. David did a great job. I thought we'd have to wait a couple of weeks. Job was done in 3 one day increments. Awesome and affordable. Mahalo HH

I usually get greeted by a couple of employees after entering the store. Never takes long to get help if needed most of the time they have on stock what I need.

This place hasn't changed since I was a kid. Love supporting this store. Employees are all very helpful and knowledgeable.

I've been in this store so many times for different reasons. I've been coming here since I was a young girl. They have items you wouldn't think they would carry. They have a plumbing section, lumber, paint, doors, screen, nuts and bolts and cleaning supplies. Shower curtains and liners, mops, brooms, scrubbers and plants. You'll be surprised at what you'll find.

Associate ignored my family; choosing to help "affluent" looking customers instead. Literally looked at my family, then turned and walked away to help customers who came *after* them. He did this TWICE. Still found what we needed, but would have been quick and nice to receive assistance instead of being passed over.

Also, it is way too warm inside. Please crank the ac.

Hardware Hawaii in Kailua I just want to say your employer Ben was awesome he helped my boyfriend and I without hesitation and when we couldn't find what we needed until we kept looking he not once gave up and apologized when the item we needed wasn't in stock but we were able to find something else please thank Ben for us and because of him i will be back alot more and will tell all my friends amd family to get their hardware from your store. Thank you Ben for your awesome help im very very grateful. Your an awesome employer you deserve more than 5 stars. We are grateful of you.

They never seem to have what you need. It's constantly out of stock. Otherwise they have good customer service in the store

If you live in Kailua or Kaneohe you can’t really beat the convenience of Hardware Hawaii. They have pretty much most of the things you’d need for house maintenance and improvements, and they have a really solid lumber section.

The customer service is spotty. Most people are aloof—in that hardware store kind of way—but some are very helpful in showing you where your item is located and even giving you some pointers if you’re asking. But there are others I avoid like the plague, which is probably the way they want it.

For the convenience it can't be beaten, but there are certainly a few people who would be better served if they provided better customer service, but that is true for most businesses with that many people.

Was asking for prices for multiple different cuts of materials. Mahalo to Keiki who helped me out. It was his second day on the job, poor thing. I appreciate all his help!

They have items there that no one else carries. For instance, they have sheets of caenic and lots of redwood items including that redwood donut that's for light fixtures for example for porch lights. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Love going there knowing if no one else has it, they do.

Want to recognize Glenn for his help today. I came in with a wheelbarrow tire that needed to be replaced. Glenn lead me to the tires and we talked about the options. I had no idea what I needed so he stared picking up tires and tired a few. He even removed the spindle and tired the tires.but my old one was too short for the new tire so he lead me to another section where there were different types of rods. He found one and explained that it wasn’t the exact item but would work. He explained what I needed to do and it made sense so I bought it, got home and was able to make it work. I’m so happy I have a working wheelbarrow! Thank you Glenn!

Very convenient store for one stop shopping. You may not find some things depending on how picky you are. But most of the items for general usage are covered here.

Hardware Hawaii is great! They have a big selection of a variety of tools, wood, paints, plants and all kinds of other stuff. The prices are good as well and the workers very friendly and helpful in any questions you may have. If your in the windward side of the island this is a great place to have your hardware needs met!
