Hawai'i Self Storage - Pearl City

11/20/23 - This a 2-part review. The 5 star rating is ONLY for the first part of the review -the staff. The second part of the reivew receives a failing grade - parking.

5 STARS - site manage Liz C.continues to be one of the most competent, friendly and supportive people i have ever encountered. She goes way beyond what must be written in the job description, to actively engage people and stives & succeeds to resolves difficulties and challenges. For her sincere concern and active outreach and support, she earns way beyond a 5 star rating.

The second part of the review is about PARKING! This rates 1 star, at the most. Arriving at the facility this afternoon we encountered a persistent challenge - parking. There were no open spaces - other than the coned off ones. I realize this is the result of the corporate decisions to maximize reliable contractual income. However, as long-time client/customer, it is exceedingly frustrating. Have to wonder how much sense it makes to continue to reserve spaces for vehicles that that have not moved in years and are rotting away, while live paying customers are not able to find a space to park.

Been using Hawaii Self Storage for a few years now because it's great. The facility is great, it's clean and secure. The staff is the best! They're always nice and very helpful. Love being a customer there!

Everything about this place from the service to the facility is top notch. Very friendly service from all of the employees, and the place is very clean and air conditioned which is a huge plus.
I would definitely recommend Hawai’i self storage for your storage needs.

5 Stars well-earned. From the facility being secure to the fantastic customer service, the chore of moving things in and out of storage becomes so much better - largely because of the wahine in the front office. Liz and Cierra treated us (complete strangers) like ohana. Both ladies have assisted us with all of our needs, helping us find another available unit or change unit sizes when needed. The place is immaculate and the climate control makes it not only comfortable for working, but also keeps personal items from deteriorating in the salt humid air. Highly recommend.

Hawaii Self Storage in PearlCity is #1. I just want to thank Liz for all her help in finding me the perfect unit. I had moved units a couple times upgrading and down sizing, and Liz is always so awesome! She new exactly what size unit I would need to store my belongings and she always gave me the besses deals! This facility is very clean with large isles and plenty carts. And the climate control is wonderful. I would definitely recommend Hawai’i Self Storage to everyone. I visit here at least 5 times a week and the service is fantastic. Everyone is willing to help in any kind of situation. Even when the soda machine isnt working the girls still make things right. Hawaii Self Storage is very clean and comfortable. In the past 5 years I've had nothing but positive reviews and don't see anything different in the next 5 years. Thank you HSS for being here.

This place has been my ohana for years. Elizabeth and the other two ladies at the counter helped me over the last 6 years often going above and beyond to make sure my payments were ok and helped remotely while i was away on deployment. They are deeply connected when you have an emergency and i will be forever grateful.

Hawai’i Self Storage is a pleasure of a company to work with. Staff are friendly and helpful. Units themselves are clean, sturdy, and easy to find with easy-to-read labels and maps throughout the facility. Area is secure with fences and coded gate access.
