Absolutely wonderful! The captain was a very calm, had a very soothing voice and still had jokes. Sharks were visible when the boat arrived at the cage.

Hawaii Shark Encounters provided a unique and wonderful experience for my family. The crew was very professional and full of insights about the Galapagos sharks and their behavior. It put us more at ease to get in the water with these amazing creatures. We also saw a barracuda chasing a school of fish. It’s a memory we’ll cherished forever.

First of all, I would like to say that it is greatly influenced by the weather. In my case, my reservation was canceled the day before, and I was able to re-book a few days later. The reason was because of the weather. The original reservation time was 10: 30, but it was canceled and the only time to re-book was 7: 00, so I cried and went on the 7 o'clock tour. I woke up at 5 a.m. Yo.this. The kids tend to get seasick, so I gave them some motion sickness medicine that I prepared in advance, but the waves were really strong. I took some medicine too, but I felt a little dizzy. The kids were almost dead on the boat. (even though I took the medicine) I think it had more of an impact because it was a little smaller. It seems that other companies have bigger ships.
When you get to the point, you stop the boat and lower the cage to see it. The waves were so strong that you couldn't hold on to the cage tightly even when you got inside, so it was a very difficult tour. In my case, I went with two kids, and two of them were almost dead, so I also I couldn't even go in because I was taking care of the kids. ㅠㅠ The group I went with came out of the cage within 5 minutes. They said it was harder inside the cage because they were so shaken. Anyway, I went there with high expectations.but the weather.
It would be best if you go on a calm day.but in my case, it was a difficult tour. If you are prone to bad weather, be sure to take medicine.

Great experience! For any reviews talking about cancelations, I would cut them some slack. Our tour was during a windy week where they said theyd likely have some cancelations, we still got to go out but i can definitely understand why cancelations would happen because waves were so big out there. I was more afraid of being out on the rocky/open ocean than I was the sharks. Great experience overall and hopefully you book with this group!

My family recently went on the Hawaiian Shark Encounters cage diving trip and had a fantastic experience. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable, providing valuable insights about the sharks, and throughout the trip, they shared insights about the different species we encountered, their habitats, and their importance in the ocean ecosystem.

My wife was reluctant at first to get in the water with sharks, but we all felt completely safe and well-informed thanks to their guidance. If you're looking for a thrilling and educational adventure, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Shark Encounters cage diving trip.

Man I always wanted to do this! 1 of the best things I ever got to do. It started slow. Sharks took some time to find us. But when they did they came 1 after another. If I ever get a chance to do it again I most definitely am.

Aloha!
Visit scheduled for Monday 9 in the morning
The meeting point is very easy to find, despite our level of English, the safety instructions are very simple to understand and logical at the same time.
The place to observe sharks is about 10-15 minutes offshore. Once arrived at the observation site, 6 people maximum in the cage and we rotated in the cage so as not to see the same side for 20 minutes. The staff is cool. If by chance the weather is good, a nice view of the North Shore coastline is visible from the boat. Of course, shark watching is just incredible and it goes by quickly! We also took the “Go Pro” option which is very practical with superb quality! Mahalo!

Captain David and Eric made our shark cage diving adventure truly exceptional. They were personable and caring, with Captain David even offering TicTacs to ease seasickness. Eric's passion for sharks shone through as he educated us about these incredible creatures.

We had the privilege of observing several Galapagos sharks up close, and the ample time in the water made it an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip – it's a solid 10/10! Thanks to Captain David and Eric for making it a memorable day with the sharks.

The guys (forgot their name) did a damn good job of making everyone feel safe and comfortable. They provided go pros and complimentary mints if you experience sea sickness.

On time, friendly informative crew. Safety was top priority. Clean boat, high quality snorkel gear. Multiple sharks swimming around the cage.
Plenty of time in the cage to view sharks.
Cool merch to buy on the boat.

We would leave 100 stars if we could! Caleb and Darrin were the most amazing guides during our Shark Cage dive. They were very thorough with the safety tips and also really funny! They gave us enough time to enjoy these majestic creatures and we left feeling very humbled by their presence. I brought my 9-year-old son and Darrin was very good at giving instructions and ensuring my son’s safety. We all had an amazing experience because of these two gentlemen and would highly recommend this tour and company!

Fantastic experience! A must do. David and Eric were a fun crew. Galapagos sharks are not aggressive. Close encounter. Pay extra for the Go Pro, you won’t regret it.
