Worst place I have stayed and we stay in Hiltons all over the US and we are Diamond members and got treated like doo nothing but issues and it’s so commercialized is about sucking your bank account dry and them making thank your getting a good deal when ya can go next door will definitely never return even if offered free. Now the view that’s what hits but ya get the same next door or surrounding hotels.

I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian village Waikiki beach resort from Nov. 12th to Nov. 20th.
During the stay, Bedbug was found in my accommodation, and I have reported this with photos and video.

I discussed this matter with Eugene Oka, the manager on duty at the hotel at that time. He mentioned that the inspection by the insurance company would take about 10 business days then we could discuss the result and compensation.

It has been over two month since the promised '10 Business days', and I believe sufficient time has passed for the inspection results to be available. Despite multiple attempts to contact the hotel via email, I did not receive a proper response.

Anyway, after over one month has passed with several complain requests, I received a contact from the outsourcing company handling the hotel's complaints, but after the initial contact, there was no further response.
This attitude of making it difficult to address the hotel's mistake and treating the matter as if it never happened is quite unpleasant.
They make customers sign a disclaimer explicitly stating, "No further medical treatment is needed, " but ironically, they fail to provide any written reports on the outcome of their promised actions.

While bedbugs could be a potential issue, the hotel's handling of the situation and their response to customers raise many concerns. Even if the hotel manage to tire out and push away customers, Hilton Waikiki may eventually pay a significant price for their actions. If you like to share the inspection results or anything, please contact me via email.

Rainbow tower room especially the ocean and the city view from our double balcony was amazing! Overall Hilton Hawaiian village resort was amazing! There were stores and shopping stores inside the resort. We had a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended.

Very big hotel. Ideal for a professional convention but I pity the people who come there on vacation at this time.
Other than that, very pleasant rooms, ideal location, efficient and professional service. Lots of shops and dining options.
A great experience.

Amazing hotel on a beautiful beach. The beach is perfect. Many restaurants and lots of shopping. 2 ABC stores on site where you can buy spam musibi to take to the beach. Multiple pools with the best water slides on the island. Sut Fei, the lady who cleaned our room did an excellent job. She was so genuinely nice and helpful.

Nancy, at the front desk is one of the best agents I’ve ever come across in my travels domestically or abroad. Exceptional and friendly service and the property features a plethora of amenities.

Very comfortable room and friendly sraff but.there needs to be notices to stop children running about wildly and the need for parental control. Also, all bath and shower units should be fitted with grab bars for safety.

Alexander lai is absolutely phenomenal. He had some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. My fiancé and I came here for our engagement and he was so genuine with us & did everything he could to make our experience memorable. I would stay here again just because of the guest services I received. We had an amazing time here & it started off kind of rocky but as soon as we met him our whole experience shifted. Very thankful for this Hawaii trip & I will 100% be staying here again during our wedding anniversary.

Although I love the layout and location of this resort, I would have to say it harder to justify the cost to stay at this resort. The rooms are in need of a serious update. During this last 2 week stay, I spent the first week in the Rainbow Tower and the 2nd week in the Ali’hi Tower. The Rainbow Tower has a serious elevator issue. It has the longest waits of any of the towers at this resort and has a 5-10 minute wait going up and down from 7am till around 11: 30pm. This makes what would be a great tower into a very frustrating stay.
The Ali’Hi tower has a great modern lobby and elevator system, but had very worn out and aging rooms. Our carpet was stained, worn and rippled similar to what you would see at an old Holiday Inn. These rooms are at a premium in this tower as it is supposed to be the upgraded tower. In our room, our shower was broke, the bathroom light was flickering and the outlet on the lamp did not work. I did like the custom bath products and the new large television, but at almost $500 a night, you would expect this room to be upgraded on a regular basis. Outside of the towers. The pools are starting to look outdated with simple white patches rather than retiling the entire pool. The hot tub are slightly warmer than a heated pool and really are looking outdated compared to many of the other properties on Waikiki. I love this resorts layout but will not be returning until I see some improvements to the property.

There are four pools and the ocean is close, so you can enjoy the tropical experience to the fullest. It's about a 20 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center and Waikiki Shopping Center. Also, the food at every restaurant is delicious. I couldn't really understand Japanese. A pretty nice hotel. The site is quite large, so it's easy to get lost until you get used to it.

Nice location but the fees are exorbitant. I guess that's expected in a posh area like this. They claimed they didn't charge the full amount to the card and charged an extra sum to cover the "missing balance". Should have just let it be like that, it was their mistake and yet I had to pay for it. Resort charge is a scam because you won't use most of the amenities and the in house wifi is nothing to charge $50+ per night. They also try to trick you into paying towel return fees by making it hard to verify that you returned the towel. Everything else in the resort was great, Hiltons fees and sketchy practice are the problem.

Rooms were alright, the bed was too hot to sleep in. We're on a tropical island, why are there thick comforters and fabrics that can't breathe?

Beautiful suites, amazing village, shopping, eating & activities. Friday nite fireworks. Walk along Ala Moana to shopping, eating, etc. Take bus around town to see the sites or Uber/Lyft.

There is no hot water. In the end, I couldn't wash it and left. It seems like sometimes the hot water comes out and sometimes it doesn't, but it didn't come out when I needed it. I don't want to go there again.

Don't have high expectations here as far as the rooms go! I believe the sign said Rainbow tower was remodeled and painted with its iconic art in 1971.and the first tower we stayed in felt as if that was the last time the room was remodeled. We had no hot water so moved to a new room. The rainbow tower was better but about 1/2 as good as you would expect on the mainland but with Hawaii prices. The The room setup was not thought out very well and needed much more counter space, or a table. But the balcony and views were amazing!
