Wonderful place to just relax. Dated, but they are in the process of remodeling. Good service. Friendly people. Comfortable. No central air conditioning, but good wall units in some rooms.

We had a great stay here. They are starting to renovated the rooms and buildings so we did hear some construction noise. The staff was for the most part very good and courteous. There aren't any beaches at this resort. Next door at the Hyatt there was a beach and pathways from the Point at Poipu to the Hyatt resort to the beach.

We have been coming to The Point at Poipu for over 20 years. We love Kaua’i, the Poipu side of the island and The Point at Poipu location. The staff are superb. The front desk with Erin, Alma and Jon are very welcoming and Erin and Alma have remembered us and welcomed us over the years. The rooms are dated and particularly the kitchens & bathrooms need updated (which they are starting). We will continue to return to our Kaua’i home in the years to come.

This is our 2nd visit here, and it did not disappoint. All the units here are 2 bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom is either twin beds or 1 queen. The a/c units are a little noisy, especially in the 2nd bedroom. One twin bed can be up against the a/c unit. The full kitchen is wonderful, and a stacked washer and dryer is extremely nice to have in the room. It has a large pool that has sand in the seating area, jacuzzi, and a decent gym. It's about 3/4 miles to Poipu Beach.nice! The staff is very welcoming, helpful and caring. If you get an ocean or partial ocean view, there is a good chance you can see the sunrise from your room. We did and it was lovely! A great time and stay. Thank you!

Nice property, nice grounds to walk around. The personnel working around the property, servicing rooms were fantastic! Good people. The rooms are dated, some Sheetrock peeling, etc.but the beds were super comfortable. Kitchen is adequately stocked. The a/c units in the bedrooms cooled the entire unit sufficiently. The pool area is adequate to kick back and relax. There is a small bar area at the pool area that prepares good drinks/food, but is very expensive. No wait service, you need to get your own drinks at the bar which really is no big deal. The bar area is the only restaurant type area on the property. We liked the seclusion of the property as we are not big resort-style people. The only complaint I have is that we booked/paid for an ocean front room and I felt like we got more of a bush-front room and I was a little disappointed. I would consider booking this property again because I loved the secluded area.

Wonderful property if a little dated. As I understand it there are significant updates coming now that this property is owned by Hilton. It would be nice to revisit after the remodel.

It would be even nicer if the property had a full service restaurant on premises. Not having one and not cooking in the room makes dinners a little cumbersome, but you also are in Kauai which is gorgeous so a worthy trade-off.

Enjoyed our stay here. The pool and spa are beautiful. However, the rooms are very outdated compared to many of the Hilton properties. No AC in the main living areas, only in the bedrooms which made it difficult to hang out as a family in the living room or kitchen.

The point at poipu has the most magnificent ocean front views. We never tire of our favorite place on earth.

This was a fantastic stay for our family. The pictures on the website don’t really do it justice - it’s newer than it looks in the rooms. It was invaluable to have the two rooms and a kitchen to cook in (they provide all the cookware and utensils to eat). The beds were a little uncomfortable after a few nights, but we are used to firmer mattresses. The master bathroom is heaven, with a tub and shower, and enough room to count as a third living space! The toilets are low-flush, so make sure kiddos (or adults!) don’t clog them up with toilet paper. The location is great - close to family-friendly beaches and food. The grounds are stunning, and the pool is a dream (with real sand and a beach!). The staff is the heart of Hawaii, so friendly and happy to help make you feel welcome. We highly recommend staying here.
