Honolulu Cadillac reviews
15Micah in the service dept.was awesome. Super quick and polite service. We really appreciated him and his help today. (Tuesday 1/23/24)
My salesman very courteous, friendly, wasn’t pushy, and strictly gave me information about things I wanted in a vehicle. He did ask if I wanted to look at other vehicles, but I choose to stay with my choice.
I dropped off my truck the night before my service was to be done. The day of service, I never heard from the dealership. The next day I called and called and left messages, but never received a phone call from the dealership and had to miss a much needed medical appt, because I didn’t have a vehicle to go to my medical appt. I had requested a loaner car when I made the appt for my truck. I had requested the my tires be rotated during my service check when I made my appt, but that never happened. My A/C has had a funky smell since the first year I had it. It still has the smell and I am my wits end with it. I love my truck, but it is embarrassing when I give someone a ride an the air coming out the vents has a smell. My vehicle isn’t even 3 years old. When I made my appt, I had less than 36,000 miles. When I turned it in for service, I was at almost 38,000. I was then told that my passenger side mirror would not be covered under warranty and it would cost me almost $700.00 to fix the squealing noise when I hit almost 60mph. This experience does not make me want to come in and purchase another vehicle down the road.
I understand the service department is understaffed, but if this was a problem then I should have been asked to postpone my appt, that would have been better for everyone.
It was a smooth transaction. We are grateful for Ms. Sasha for all her efforts to make this happen especially The Manager (sorry, forgot to get his name) …He didn’t need to come talk to us but he made us bring home my husband’s “dream” truck. We were at the right place at the right time… with the PERFECT people.such a wonderful team. Sasha, thank you for calling us on Sunday! Happy Holidays to all of us!
Often do my own repairs. AC was running warmer than normal and a bunch of other things weren’t working properly. Was about to replace a certain part when I was convinced to have the dealer take a look. Glad they did as they found the source of the problem and it was something else I never considered and costed less to repair than what I would have ended up doing (and I wouldn’t have resolved the root of the issue). I don’t like that it can take a while to get parts sometimes (prob the recent strike impacted), but so happy to have a properly functioning vehicle again.
The deal took too long. Even after a deal was struck, it seemed like I waited for finance to sign the paperwork. Also, the truck took, what seemed like forever, too long to be cleaned and prepped for delivery. I was at the dealership for almost 6 hrs before I was able to go home.
Some things weren’t communicated properly. Like the insurance part. It took a bit of back and forth, which made me have to wait longer. I hate waiting around. There should be a guideline of what will need to happen. So it’s more efficient. Like qualifying for loan, change of insurance from your old vehicle to new vehicle, if you have a trade in like me. Or adding a vehicle to your insurance with the proper type of coverage. And in the case of an EV fully charge it. And finally detailing it so I can get out of there. Oh and signing all the finance paperwork. Just my experience
Friendly staff, fast and efficient service.
Got in and out fast with my service appointment.
The in-person service at the dealership is great. However getting to make an appointment is way less than stellar. I call the given/advertised number for the service department & get sent to voicemail & once a day, i might leave a message that never gets returned. The past 2 services for my car have taken over 2 weeks to get scheduled because **nobody** calls me back. I then call the main number for the dealership & finally get a live person who helps me to finally schedule my appointment.
Why would i recommend someone to your dealership when this is what i go through?
Andrew Morey was very professional and made me feel very valued and respected throughout the entire buying experience. Jeff Lee was also very professional and respectful and closed the deal swiftly. Great team and great experience, much mahalo!
For my first time, I was pleased. The check in was fast and nice. Time spent for the work done in waiting room was pleasant.
Sean is a great guy to work with. There was no feelings of pressure to buy a vehicle and worked with me to negotiate a price that I was comfortable with.
Highly recommend Sean as your salesman.
Worst dealership service department I've ever encountered. Let me explain, I bought a new car from this dealer a year ago, there was a chip shortage and some of the features were subject to retrofit. I thought no big deal, I can understand supply chain shortages and all that. Six months later I get a message from this dealership, your retrofit is ready, bring in your car. I take time off work, drive all the way across the island, drop off my car, ask them if they can also fix my tire that has a slow leak. All smiles, no problem. End of the day they call me, your car is ready, come on in, I go in to pick it up. No retrofit. I said where's the retrofit, they said oh the part isn't here yet, it's going to take another month. Then why did you tell me that it was ready? What am I doing here? Did you fix my tire? Oh, we didn't find anything wrong with it. I took it to a well-known tire repair place and they found a screw in the tire, so they straight-up lied to me. All this happened six months ago and I'm still waiting for my retrofit. Try to call them and you get no answer, although they seem to have the time to defend their reputation on Google. Whomever is answering their reviews, can you please answer the phone?
It took much less time than I expected mostly because the salesman was so competent to input all the details setting up the electronics to my satisfaction dealing with the insurance and all necessary paperwork; a pleasure to work with!
Always told I will get a call back in 20 minutes or the next day and I never do, I then spend the next 36 hours trying to get someone to answer a phone. No one manages those phones for such an elite business. Scheduled a service appt 2 weeks out for my cadillac, arrived at my appt and they had no details about my scheduled appt because the lady that made my appt no longer works there (now they have used that exact same excuse 2 other times before with me), so they told me they had to hold on to it for a few days before they could get to it. I dropped my vehicle off on Tuesday at 9 AM and it is Friday at 4 PM and they have not called us once, we have had to keep attempting to reach out to them. How are you going to be a dealership for such a prestige brand but deliver Hyundai customer service like get your ish together, seriously! When I first bought my truck I had to wait 9 months for a part to come in because my video system went out. So I was driving a new truck and my kids could not watch movies for 9 months. While waiting they never gave me a courtesy call or update I had to call them every month and hassle them for an update and every month I received a different crazy answer. The only constant and professional aspect of their facility is the courtesy driver, she is always on point with helping me get where I need to go due to them taking my vehicle and never giving me a loaner even though they have had it for the week, but she is the best asset of all the staff and departments. Damn shame!
