I have been going to Dr. Oda for 6 years, originally for a bulging disc which I had been in constant pain for the previous two years. My back was 100% better within a few weeks using his laser treatment. I was so impressed that I decided to use him as my chiropractor since I had been going elsewhere with less effective adjustments.

Later, as I became borderline diabetic, he suggested I try his weight loss program, which I decided to do, and it lowered my A1C. I am no longer borderline.

He is very professional and personable and I would highly recommend him.

I lifted some very heavy bags and increasingly felt like a lightshow of intense pain was moving from hip to hip -front and back.lt felt like the pain when a stone is moving in or out of my kidney. I am an expert about kidney stone pain as I have an exceptionally long history of stone surgeries, “blastings”, and “passings”. A visit to the walk-in clinic determined severe strain of the iliopsoas muscle. Dr. Aaries Oda’s laser treatment was phenomenal as it resulted in the end of the moving lightshow intense pain to just a small area on my lower left back.

As a clinical psychologist, I have worked in medical facilities, and observed and interacted with health care professionals. In my assessment Dr. Oda provided excellent patient care. He is a competent professional who is direct and clear-no doctor-speak-communicating in a respectful, caring, and empathic manner. He was attuned to my verbal and nonverbal communication and answered my questions. As I sat in his waiting room, I observed a diversity of patients interacting with him and I believe he provides culturally sensitive and appropriate treatment—essential in Hawai’i.

I am also impressed with his staff as contact on the phone and in-person was also very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. Michael took extra care to reach out It and greet me and the younger female staff person was very warm, friendly and helpful to me with a personal matter.
