Great location! Walking distance to everything. Rooms are clean a spacious. Staff was great and very accommodating. The only thing I would complain about would be the parking fee. It’s $50 a day to work your car and the resort fee is $50 a day as well. The parking garage is super tiny and hard to drive around

Stayed in July 2021. Hotel staff was super helpful and kind! Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and efficient. No microwave. The street noise can be pretty loud, especially Friday and Saturday nights. It didn't bother us, but it might bother some. There is a fun candy store and ABC store in the hotel. Pool in smaller, but who needs it when you are directly across for the most beautiful beaches! Hotel has beach towels and chairs that you can check out for the day. It's at the pool. Breakfast was great, we got ours to-go and ate in our balcony. Wish we could go back already!

This hotel was great for our family of 4.2Adults 2 Children 2 Pets: 2 Queen beds for 10 nights, city view.
Pool is open until 8 on the 3 floor. Breakfast isn't included, self park is 50$ a day, there is bell service, right across from the beach, housekeeping was great, laundry facilities in hotel at your expense, great food, easy check-in. You need a vaccine passport for the gym. Gave us our TLA rate as I was there for PCS.

Friendly staff, nice location and reasonable price in midst of a pandemic. We did get upsold to an oceanfront room but thought we splurged and enjoy the unobstructed ocean view. It was located right across the street from the beach which was very nice.

The staff are kind and highly accommodating. Location is great although it gets noisy on the weekends from the hotel since it’s in the strip.

Overall great place and location.

Great hotel and location the only problem I see is the fee for self parking which is $50.00 dollars a day which I think is outrageous if you are a guest staying at the hotel.

Excellent accommodations, great staff, optimal cleanliness and consistent safely protocols in place. For someone with anxiety about our current global pandemic, this place squelched my fears and gave way to relaxation.

Fairly simple accomodations with a most amazing view. There is a store in the atrium shops called Blue Ohana. It is an absolute ripoff and they refuse to give refunds, even if you find defects in their merchandise. You can buy most everything in the bazaar down the street for literally 1/3 of the price. They were selling crystal pineapples for $165 and you can find the exact same thing in the bazaar for $50. The store manager is extremely rude and combative as well. Highly recommend the Hyatt to stay, but be wary of the scam stores.

The ocean views are nice but the balcony access is scary for those afraid of heights. The hotel has a mall built around it for the first 4 floors, which makes for somewhere nice to hang out.

The beach is across the street, and there are convenience stores on the premise and right outside.

You can get Hawaiian shirt face masks! In the convenience store on the premise.

Walking distance to everything, quick uber to Chinatown (where there's more nightlife).

Location of Hyatt Regency is fantastic with the Waikiki beach right across the street. We went for our anniversary and they greet us with chocolates in the room. Rooms are renovated but you can still see some remnants of old paint/doors. Staff at front desk were friendly but slow, we waited for a long time in line to be helped when checking in.

Excellent stay but be warned they have no Valet due to Covid which makes parking eat up a lot of vacation time if you are renting a car. The pool is also realllly small. I loved wearing the free slippers around the room everyday though. And plenty of free coffee for the coffee pot in the room.

I've stayed at three hotels in Waikiki over two years, and this was my favorite (over Hyatt Place and also Aston Waikiki).

First, the building is beautiful, with waterfall features in the lobby. The Kai Coffee on the first floor is also great for coffee lovers. Our room was very clean, and had an amazing beach view. The room looked quite new and modern.
