Island Vintage Shave Ice, Honolulu HI

I love it! It seems that it is sweetened only with fructose without using sugar. I ordered Heavenly Lilikoi with frozen yogurt so delicious that I ordered it every time. If you go, we recommend going during lunch time when the line is long.

Among the popular menu items, I ate the one with Rainbow written on it.
It was moderately sweet, refreshing, and delicious.

Shaved ice was so good I came back twice! The heavenly lilikoi was nice, but I feel the better move is to build your own with 3 flavors which is cheaper ($8 vs $11, the main star of the show is the shaved ice and I felt the extra toppings like the popping boba and frozen yogurt were unnecessary). Would recommend lilikoi, mango, and strawberry flavors, acai was too mild in my opinion. Also be aware there's a massive line for this place.

Ok. First of all. This place is fire. Service was quick and fast and efficient! The shave ice and the açaí bowl is fire! I mean good! Worth every bit of your money. The people working here are so amazing and precious. It’s my spouse bday and as I put my order in…. It asked my name “tony it’s my bday” and you know what they did! They got candles for him. How freaking sweet! I’m recommending this place to everyone. The music playing is my vibe! Great choice

I got the Heavenly Lilikoi and it’s the next level of shave ice. The best shave ice I’ve ever had. Would be back to try more flavors!

Not a real shaved ice by any standard. Disgrace- do not come here! White in the middle no syrup soaked thru- how hard is it to make a shaved ice! Had to throw away

The shaved ice was great! They only had one kiosk to order which later created a line while the employees chatted in the back & felt like it was a little slow. The service wasn’t so great.

Great desserts that I could have come back for every day I was in Hawaii.
Unlike other places we tried, most of their house made syrups have very clear, delicious fruit flavours, although a few were a bit more subtle. The ice had a nice delicate texture and the soft serve or frozen yogurt in the centre made the perfect contrast of rich milkyness to the light fruity ice. They look generous but aren’t too sweet or filling.
Some people say it takes too long, we weren’t particularly bothered by the average 10min waits from the time we got in line, and apparently they will order a third ice shaving machine to provide even faster service.
It was a bit of a bummer when we came right before closing and they had shut early. I’ve worked hospitality for a long time and that’s something most places I’ve worked for would not do.
Definitely check this place out!

Visited before heading to the airport on the day of returning home in June 2023.
I hadn't tried shave ice on this trip yet, so I decided to go with the most famous and highly rated one.
I looked hard in the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, but it was shaped like a small wooden store on the right side of the entrance.
Tablet to order. It was a bit difficult (; ･`д･´)
I didn't know how to select card payment, so I ended up entering it while asking the store clerk to teach me.
You can choose syrup flavor, gelato flavor and toppings.
The solid flavor of the syrup and the creaminess of the gelato at the bottom were delicious.
I wasn't expecting mint syrup, but it was refreshing and refreshing without any sarcasm! !
On a hot day, you can easily eat it by yourself.

I think this is the best ice shave on the island. We had several more, but this one we loved the most. We first tried it when we were for the first time in Oahu, 4 years ago and nothing changed since then, it's delicious!

Granularity of the ice is perfect! Flavors are very natural and unlike those cheap artificial flavors. Highly recommend! Worth to stand in line and wait

We were vacationing in Waikiki and came across this Kiosk. Their shaved ice is the bomb. My daughter and I ordered the Lilikoi (passion fruit) flavor and ice cream. It was the best!

The shaved ice here is a MUST TRY. You will not be disappointed. I didn’t know what the hype was about for shaved ice here but after coming here, I can see why people line up for this. I saw the workers careful craft my shaved ice with ice cream in the center. The fruit juice used tasted really fresh and had a lot of flavor.

There's not much of a line at 6pm, which is the meal time. It's not special because it tastes like sweet and cool ice shaved ice topped with fruit, but it's easy to eat because you can sit anywhere nearby and eat it. The line is very long after 7 o'clock, when others have eaten.

Such incredible shave ice! Came here after finding out ululani’s at the hyatt closed and have a new favorite place! The flavors are made with fresh fruits and no dyes! Pretty good value compared to other places.will for sure be coming back! Loved the coconut, lilikoi, and strawberry

Some of my favorite shave ice on all the islands. Some places have syrup which tastes syrupy but at this place they taste more genuine and fruity.

I know that more seasoned reviewers would recommend another place on the other side of the island, but I really liked their shaved ice.

What drew my attention was the long lines in the late afternoon. To avoid that go during early lunchtime.

Ordering is done through the touchscreen terminal. I got my item within ten minutes after a queue of five people before me.

I first tried the Heavenly Lillikoi (10.95) There was consistent flavoring through the ice. Never having this before it was amazing. The mochi was the highlight for me. I can't really explain it, they were not mushy yet not too chewy either.

It was so good that I ordered again the next day (Super Island 10.95). Serving took only five minutes. A must visit if you are in the area. Just mind the time of day.

The shaved ice and boba teas are so delicious! We've had shaved ice in Hawaii before, but this place is the best. Definitely recommend!

It is very delicious. I've tried it at other places, but it's really different. It's good to try it as a snack. I went there because the rating was good, and I'm really satisfied.
