Great experience with a caring crew. We saw lots of fish and a few turtles. We had a chance to snorkel as well. There was a lady on the boat who started to get into the water but changed her mind. They tried to talk her through the process but didn't pressure her to move forward at all. Definitely would recommend to all.

Island Water Sports at Hawaii Kai on Island of Oahu in Hawaii.
It was a windy and choppy day on the water. We had a 10 minute ride out to the diving spot. We were divided into groups and my wife and I were in group One, first in.
The experience was fantastic and so unique. Would recommend to anyone, young or old.

Had a blast! The crew is amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The scooters are fun and give you an awesome experience with lots of fish coming around, as well as the occasional sea turtles. Crew was happy to take my GoPro down to the sea floor to grab some close up video of the wildlife. **one big note, if you get claustrophobic, getting into the scooter may be a challenge - wife didn’t realize she was until it was game time and had to back out last second. Again, the crew could not have been better and got her and my son set up with snorkel gear where they could see the action from the surface. Had a blast and would definitely recommend.

Our family did the Submarine Scooter Adventure. We have two kids, ages 12 & 14. The experience was amazing, but. I wish I would have been able to prepare us a little better. For one of my kids and myself, the experience was challenging at first. The water is cool enough that it takes your breath away for a couple of minutes. When you go into the submarine, it's a little claustrophobic, which adds to the breathing situation. I came back out, got used to the water and breathing under control and then went back in. I was fine from that point forward. The experience was amazing and we would do it again for sure. I would recommend giving yourself a minute to get used to the water before going into the submarine. After that, you'll love the experience. And the crew was awesome for every second.

All I can say is AMAZING. The entire staff is kind and knowledgeable but Hoku was my scuba scooter guide and the way that young man with Crystal blue eyes set me at ease no one can learn that. Loved the experience, the Sub scooters are amazing! I don’t know swimming but it was so easy to go through the process. That said, it is costly, maybe it has to be due to the equipment needed and security involved in it. The one star I am taking out is because of $80 (3 members) that they ask for giving pics and the video after already paying the high fee for the rides!

I enjoyed scooter scuba very much! The crew/divers are extremely friendly. I am a non-swimmer. They made me feel extremely comfortable, encouraged me when I was stepping into the ocean. At all times, a diver was with me and I felt safe. They have a signal to get out of water way before time, if scared or just satisfied.

I wanted to scuba dive once, I am glad I tried it here.

They take lot of photos and videos for a charge.

Definitely recommended! The scooter is a little noisy though.

All r he staff are super helpful and friendly and always keep your safety as the number one priority during the adventure. The location our boat was stopping at for the swim was so beautiful! The scuba-scooter is a must try for anyone whose never done it before and no better place to try it first than in Hawaii with the Island Water Sports team!

This is a once in a lifetime experience you don't want to pass up. I'm personally terrified of going underwater, but their experienced divers made this experience fun, worry-free, safe, and something I'll cherish the rest of my life. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, funny, and had great customer service skills.

Our guides did a really good job of explaining the submarine scooters to us. It was nice that we got to snorkel and do the scooters. I did think we’d be able to scoot around a bit more, but still really fun.

Experienced divers accompanied us throughout our time in the submarine scooters. Saw alottt of fishes, and they made sure we were comfortable. We took our phone covers to capture the underwater, but the pictures were unclear. The divers however had their own cameras and took our professional pictures underwater to capture everything. They also offer snorkeling gears for free on the boat. Underwater submarine scooter time is around 8-10 mins, but the rest of the time you can snorkel. They also provide free snacks if you're hungry!

100% recommend it.

This is the best places forever, I will definitely come again and also introduce all my families and friends to here. Staffs are all kind! Because I registered it late, there is only one spot left, I give it to my 10-year-old daughter. I am so worried about her safety, because she go by herself for the whole trip. Nishimoto Dean is super super super kind and nice, he take care of my daughter so well, he said he has 3 kids, and he know how to take care of kids. He make a big surprise to me, because he use his personal phone to take so many photos and video, due to some reasons, I cannot get all of them by Message, he emailed all photos and videos to me! My daughter called him Uncle Dean, and talked about him all the way to hotel. As a traveller, I more focus on kids’ safety and happiness, Dean totally gave us these. By the way, when we left, staffs clean up the boat, make it clean for next group customers. I barely write a review, but this time, I want to write it, and want to share with anyone who needs true information.

Such a great adventure. So loved this. Crew was awesome. Our whole family had a great time, even the kid that was nervous. Lol. Would recommend a 100 times over.

Great place. Friendly people. Unfortunately matarais are not under their control, but we saw a few and enjoyed our excursion.

Amazing experience. It was one of a kind activity. The staff was helpful and patience as my kids had lot of questions before going into water. The diving instructor helped us to guide through the whole experience and it came out as one of the best activity we did in Honolulu.

This was an awesome experience. Diving to the floor of the ocean and interacting with beautiful colorful fishes and turtles. The fishes were literally eating out of my hand. It was a lifetime experience. The staff were very courteous and funny. The divers were very understanding and helpful. They understood my fear of water and they assured me of my safety and calmly guided me. They made the experience a memorable one.

This was the highlight of my vacation! The fish will actually eat out of your hands and the sea turtle made a few appearances. I can’t swim but the tour guides and divers made me feel comfortable and before you knew it I was underwater scooting around feeding fish.
