Jana is the best, full of energy, and an amazing eye for the perfect shot. We have known Jana for 13 years. She did our very first family photo shoot with our three fur babies in 2010 at Del Mar Dog Beach in Del Mar, California. She was very accommodating, professional, and an tremendous way making her subjects comfortable, relax, free thay wenforgot we were having a photoshoot. In 2012, while returning from deployment, my wife met me in Hawaii on Oahu. We knew Jana was living in Maui at the time and we wanted her to do our photo shoot. We contacted her and she managed to fit us in on her busy schedule. She flew to Oahu and helped us capture more memories in Haleiwa near the very famous Matsumoto Shaved Ice. Again, her work was beautiful and we loved it. In the summer of 2017, my wife and I attended a relative's renewal ceremony in Oahu. Of course, we wanted to see our friend Jana and at the same time, wanted her to do another photoshoot. Of course, she happily obliged and met us again in Oahu and this time our photoshoot was at Lanikai Beach where you can see an amazing viewnof the The Mokuluas. And again, the photos came out great and we had such a blast. Definitely, our next trip to Hawaii will to Maui and we cant wait to do another photoshoot with Jana. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.

Jana took our engagement and wedding photos in Maui. She was very relaxed and professional. We had such a great time working with her. This review is long overdue! We hired Jana to capture our special destination wedding on Maui a few years and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning she was easy to communicate with and always accessible. Since we did not meet prior to the wedding I was a bit apprehensive but upon our first Aloha all worries went out the door! Jana is by far the best photographer we have had the pleasure of working with! I found Jana through Instagram back in 2019 after my now husband and I got engaged. While we were in Maui we had her do an engagement shoot for us and our pictures turned out phenomenal. So much so that when we were back in Maui in 2022 we had her do a maternity shoot for us! We live in Arizona and have had engagement photos, wedding photos and family photos done here and Jana is still my favorite photographer. Not only are Jana's photos aesthetically the best (color, tone, etc.), but her demeanor is the best out there as well! Jana made us feel extremely comfortable, but she gave us direction where needed. She has an amazing eye and can feedback such as "turn your chin down slightly" which turns a good picture into a great picture. I have found very few photographers do this and it makes a world of difference. My family will be making a trip back to Maui one day and you bet Jana will be the first person I reach out to for family photos! She's truly the best and I cannot recommend her enough!

Planning a destination wedding can seem intimidating and to have never met your photographer before selecting the services sounds crazy but I am so glad we chose Jana. We were able to look through her portfolio online and fell in love with everything.

In the moments leading up to our wedding we were able to curate a timeline and shot list via zoom. Jana pays attention to every single detail and really makes your vision come to life. Although it rained on our wedding day, Jana was able to pivot and was SO BEYOND flexible with our wedding party of 14 and our 90+ guests in our group shot at the end of our ceremony. Jana managed the shot list and timeline all by herself while really making our photos LOOK PERFECT! We are so pleased. Since our couples session got rained out, Jana MADE the time in her schedule to meet us for another session on the beach before we left the island. She really made sure we had those intimate shots we always discussed and we so APPRECIATE her.
