Kaanapali Maui at the Eldorado, Lahaina HI

A very nice 2 story condo development that overlooks a golf course and the Pacific Ocean beyond. It was build a while ago but the staff keeps the facility clean and well maintained. Every unit has a view of the golf course from you own private balcony. There are 3 pool areas but the real treat is the private beach club that is just a 5 minute walk across the golf course or call and the Golf Cart Shuttle will pick you up.

It is a fantastic lodging place but my favorite thing is the ocean walk that can help you wind your way to Whalers Village. There the quality shops and restaurants are top notch, everything you might need for a special stay. If you don’t want to take the 10 minute walk or want to avoid a passing shower there is the free shuttle. It departs every 30 minutes at 20 past and 50past ever hour.
We spent 3 weeks in the islands and this was our favorite stay, we will come back next year for all 3 weeks forgetting Honolulu and the Big Island.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was it is slightly dated and I don’t want too many people to find this really quiet comfortable friendly place…Don’t change it.

We had a great experience staying at Maui Eldorado, K202. The kitchen was well equipped which exceeded all of our needs. We had an amazing view of the ocean and sunsets from our lanai. Linda, the property manager, was great at meeting our needs. She even delivered flowers for us to enjoy during our stay. We absolutely loved spending time at the pool and the cabana. We highly recommend. 10/10

I guess it depends which unit you are in. The resort is located in walking distance of Whalers Village, Black Rock and the beach, next to a golf course. The unit we had (A106) was spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. We had two king size beds. But we cannot give 5 stars because the first night we had a large cockroach in our bathroom. After my wife's scream I killed it with a shoe and reported it to the Outrigger office. They sent someone to spray the bathroom and put down bait traps. On the third night we had another large roach (2 inches) which again I killed. We then bought some roach killer spray in Lahaina and I sprayed the whole bathroom and closets. From day 1 we also had very small ants in the kitchen and living room on work surfaces. I killed these also with the spray. Not what you expect when paying $800 a night. Kind of spoilt our two week holiday as we slept uneasily.

Beautiful resort. The staff is super friendly, and they have a cabana on the beach with towels, a shower for rinsing, and restrooms. It's a beautiful walk to the cabana, but they will give you a ride if you need it in their little golf carts (we took them up on the ride when we had a lot of stuff, or when my elderly parents wanted to come down).

Nice facility adjacent to Kaanapali but more than walking distance from the beach.
Nice pool, good indoor parking and older but nicely appointed suites.
Pretty expensive over Christmas holiday.

Bed Rooms were Exquisite! Living room, Kitchen, & Bathrooms, also! Gorgeous Balcony Scenery, overlooking the Whale Pool, Golf Course, possibly Ka'anapali ElDorado Beach, the Ocean, & Molokai in the Horizon!

Absolutely.

"HEAVEN ON EARTH! "

It's a walk to the beach. On the golf course side there's a lot of early morning noise from the maintenance. Easy on and off the main highway for easy fun locations. No EV charger.

Why only three stars? Well, room D208 that we stayed in this time…was not great. Being super close to the highway the main bedroom is sooo noisy. Coupled with the fact that there are no curtains, only sheers, you are kept awake at night by the lights of oncoming cars.

What is great about it? Location of the apartments. The pools are good.

But turn the pool lights on at night! And offer clean towels…because a stay of a whole week is a long time without clean towels.

Was a condo so not much service involved. Brought extra linens and had free Mai Tai s in the lobby on Thursdays. Staff so friendly and a fantastic cabana right on the waters edge. View from the cabana below.

Absolutely worth all stars. Week with all fun and no regrets. This place has so much to offer for your comfort while in Maui.

Luxury resort with a motel 6 shower experience. For real almost bought a showerhead to fix the problem.

My friend and I learned the hard way that Maui is expensive. We totally lucked out finding availability at Eldorado. It was one of the cheaper places to stay and still offered so much! It has great walkability to the popular area of Whalers Village and also has a big plaza right out front with a general store, snorkel rentals, cafe and more. There is a trolley/bus that stops at multiple nearby resorts all the way to Whalers Village as well. It's free!

Eldorado was a pleasant surprise, as there's not many reviews or pictures online. Our room was comfortable and clean. It offered an inside dining table as well as one outside on our patio. A couch, comfy queen bed and a spacious bathroom with a good size kitchen. We were on the first floor of building G. The check in process was easy and service was friendly. There are 3 pools, but the biggest one is the best. So much space and plenty of chairs and tables. The best part was definitely their cabana on the beach, it had inside sitting rooms, outside lounge chairs, and a full kitchen! They also had chairs you could take out to the beach as well as towels. Golf carts will take you there and back from your building. It is a pretty good walk, otherwise.

Off the lobby there is a little cafe/convenience store where we had breakfast and lunch. The english muffin breakfast sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich were made fresh to order and with love. They also sold some alcohol and random goods you might need on your trip. This place would be an awesome choice for a family as they had a lot of big hang out areas. The grounds were well kept and had lush, beautiful plants. There were 2 cats who lived on the grounds as well:) We loved our trip here and had no complaints!

They put us in a room that had roaches first then ended up with a room that had a camera. The bathroom smells like a cat been living in it. Not a good impression on the first time.

Loved this, the price is good, it has a lot of space with a room, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. Balcony is nice. 2 good pools and it’s also close to the beach! They give u towels at the beach and it’s also close to a little plaza. Would definitely stay here again!

We went to visit friends that are staying there and we got to enjoy the Cabana, and their condo was beautifully remodeled.

Was walking yesterday down the sidewalk toward the Royal Lahaina. When a club car with a patently a drunk driver with a family of five came flying from behind a hedge from the Eldorado Hotel and dam near hit me. As I was walking.

I have to say that it's so rare to find an accommodation that fulfils every aspects of your vacation. Maui Eldorado D202 did and exceeded our expectations. Maybe because our condo was owned privately and everything in our condo were exquisitely done especially for a vegan like me. You can't find many hotel that have plant-based and vegan soap or organic product for their guests. Maui Eldorado D202 had everything good for the earth and for vegan and non vegan alike.
