Kahai Street Kitchen reviews
152022: my new Moliliili fav when I just want to stay in the hood on a quiet day…now that A Place To Eat lost its Pucks Alley retail site.
Absolutely delicious! I had the Kalbi Tacos and my husband had the Chicken Katsu. Both of us finished our (very large) plates. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the island!
Delicious food! Garlic chicken, Kimchi Chicken and Fried Rice with scrambled eggs and it was amazing. Pork Fried rice and Mac salad had excellent flavor. Will stop by again before leaving the island…better than similar food I have had in NYC and that is saying something….
Love their food. Great local fusion and gourmet style plate lunch. Limited seating inside and there are some benches outside but parking is hard to find.
The food and service was great! We were in Oahu for 2 weeks and came to Kahai street kitchen 4x
The food was cooked after ordering and it was perfectly cooked every time. The short ribs were my favorite, the meat was so tender and it was very savory. I also enjoyed their garlic chicken, it was delicious! The wait time can exceed 20 minutes but it’s worth it!
Aloha; this is one of the top plate lunch places on island. They have unreal Mac salad to start, great steak plates, and salads. They have gourmet style food with flavors that will blow you away. The staff is super helpful and kind. But I recommend you go at 11am before they get busy with phone orders or customers in general. I will be back to try thier hawaiian style pastrami hoogie.
Love their specials. Today I had the braised turkey, stuffing, mashed and corn. Delicious! Parking is a pain though so I recommend calling in your order first.
Call in your order ahead of time. There was 1 person in front of me and I ordered 4 plates and a sandwich, cashier told me about 10-15 min wait. Sat and waited for my food for a little over 40 min. Hopefully the food is worth the wait!
Expensive fatty brisket plate lunch. Only given a few thin slices. It was ok but Not at that price. Disappointed and still hungry. 2 1/2 stars at best.
I live right up the street, and when my partner and I decided to eat in for once instead of taking out we were given outstanding service.the owner even noticed me throwing away rubbish in the bin behind the shop because they were closing and I didn’t want them to use an extra trash bag, and he came out to apologize even though no wrong was done. 6/5 stars and don’t even get me started on the food!
When I went, there was a 20 minute wait (which was well worth it!) I had a soufflé which was delicious! It is really filling, so no worries about it not being enough food. The service was quick was was great!
Everything was super yummy and the staff were so friendly. We had the garlic chicken, special (prosciutto wrapped shrimp), guava BBQ brisket, Burger with egg on top. Everyone loved their meal!
I had brisket & eggs. It was sort of like a hash.not my favorite & if you want a strong coffee don't b get it here.
Staff was very nice. Food tastes great with big portions. I had prime rib locomoco. It was special of the day. Been to this place several times. Only down side is street parking or you could park at longs.
Excellent customer service, decent price, generous portions
One of the best places I've found since moving to this side of the island
