Kahala Mall reviews
25Nice quiet mall with everything you need from clothing to groceries. Easy access one floor and decent restaurant or two.
I accidentally found this mall, I was interviewing with a prospective employer across the parking lot at the Chiles Restaurant and their it was Kahala Mall. The only reason I went their is because I seen they had a Macy's Department Store, so I said I'll go just to see if there were any similarities on sale items and there were, so, I pick up a shirt and asked the clerk to hold a pair of pants until my birthday and she said yes she would. My birthday is just a couple of days away, I shall return to that Macy's to purchase those pants and find another pair, on sale of course.
Kahala Mall
For me Kahala Mall is still oriented to making sure the local families feel comfortable and welcomed. Ala Moana and some of the other malls have become so High End that "normal" families can't really afford to buy anything.
But at Kahala Mall they have a mixture of small boutiques and larger named store which provides you with some options.
The mall is has a cozy feeling and smells like cookies for whatever reason that is.
My brother and I enjoy walking through the mall to get some exercise in and then ruin that by eating some food.
Love this place but wish they had more vegetarian bento choices, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.
Mall was clean and had safety measures in place. Not a large variety of stores but adequate selection.
Great I'm in Love with the Right at home kinda feel this Local Shopping Center brings to Me while out picking up new gear with the family
Decent mail. Whole foods is the main draw, along with the Apple Store and if you restaurants like California Pizza Kitchen. Like many malls across the country it's lost its luster and there are many empty spaces. For its location there is no real alternative nin East Oahu. One thing that is quite strange is that it is mostly indoors, Ala mouana is a much better shopping experience
Same ole, same ole. Its one of Hawaii's older shopping malls. It's limited in the sense that it needs to be renovated, upgraded. Its boring, expensive, like colorless.
I was very annoyed tonight how online it stated Kahala Mall closes at 9 pm. But when i went to the store i needed to buy something in (Thinker Things), it was already closed at 7 pm! (Other stores were still open or closed early) What the hell? ! At least on the website, it should state each store has their own hours of business due to special circumstance instead of people who traveled all the way from Waipahu to go to the ONLY Thinker Things on the friggen island, to find out they close earlier than 9 pm!
Great mall as far as far as malls go. Clean, easy to navigate, lots if different type stores, places too eat, and lots if parking
Very small for a mall and I didn't like the little train the kids were riding because of how small the mall is it seemed like eventually somebody can get ran over or something. Not to mention all the kids were probably just forced on the train by their parents because they all looked bored and or already falling asleep
Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Cool from the heat outside for a comfortable shopping day.
They got everything you need there. I think the food is little more pricey than some of the other malls. The place is well kept always clean. And of course there is a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice. My 18 year old daughter loves to shop at the clothing stores and Apple store is there for all of your computer needs. More than enough parking even when it is very busy and parking this free. Public bathroom is available and it to is nice and clean.
Our visiting ganddaughter needed a quick change of tennis shoes after eating at CPK, and we found them at Ross's. I was amazed that the Fila's were cheaper than the base, and that the exact pair of Skechers I bought my other grandchild two weeks earlier were also cheaper which proves our grandchildren are smart shoppers!
Has lots of boutique shops. Good for gifts, has plenty of parking, and lots of different restaurants to choose from. Easy vibe no stress kind of place.
Enclosed mall don't have to worry about the weather. Parking can be annoying on weekends. Plus side it's a convenient mall for the east side of Oahu.
Had to pick up my new glasses and was very impressed with two sales people there, Alexa and Wii (whee).
When you are in trouble about what to souvenir, you always buy colorful soap. People who received gifts from me are pleased that they are "very cute soaps".
Indoor mid upper shopping mall. Whole food & Apple store is here. Sometimes have music performance. Personally I hope there is better eateries. Mall provided wooden chairs & dining tables very comfortable. Safe for kids.
I like this mall, it is big enough for good selection but small enough to get around pretty fast. It's indoor so nice and airconditioned. Has a movie theater and some good restaurants.
