Kahu Surf School, Honolulu HI

My wife and I had two couples lessons.really great instruction we were both able to surf small waves on our first lesson. Instructors were Joe, Addy, and Kumu. Highly recommend all of them, very good vibes

Took a two hour lesson with Addy. Worked a ton on my form, and talking through line up etiquette. Got a great ride in at Queens.

Addy taught these Midwest farm girls to surf right away. We’ve done some really fun stuff on our trip already and this is a highlight! Would recommend Kahu for sure.

I was a bit nervous to surf in the beginning but Addy made sure my sister and I felt comfortable. He taught us step by step. I had the best experience ever and would love to take another lesson again when I’m back in Hawaii! Thank you so much for the amazing class:)

Addy and Joe killed it. My 10 year old son got up on his first wave no problem. The pictures and videos were amazing and so easy to receive. If you are looking for safe informative and fun surfing hit them up.

Had a 2hr personal lesson with Addy. He is a great instructor and did a great job making me feel comfortable. If you want to go make sure you bring your own rash guard and water shoes.

Had a 2 hr lesson with a friend with Addy as our teacher. We had such a great time as first time learners. Safety lesson at the beginning was helpful and then Addy helped us catch waves the rest of the time. One of my favorite things we did in Hawaii!

Had such an amazing surf lesson with Addy. Having only had one surf lesson almost twenty years ago, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get up on the board, let alone catch any waves. With the land training and Addy demonstrating proper foot position, along with some beginner training in the water, I was able to stand up on my first wave. Addy provided feedback and pointers throughout the lesson, and by the end I was catching waves on my own. Highly recommend for any newbies or anyone that hasn’t surfed in awhile to take a lesson at Kahu Surf School.

Had an awesome experience with the Kahu Surf School. I booked the night before and was out on the water 8am the next day. Addy was fantastic, and even though I have surfed (badly) for a while, the land based safety training reminded me of a bunch of things I had forgotten over time. Totally recommend Kahu Surf School!

Extremely quick and efficient! Addy came back to make sure we were ready to go and talked us through everything! Also could see him after I fell holding up a thumbs up showing signs of encouragement. What an awesome experience!

Addy was great surf instructor. Gave me tips on when to paddle and helpful tips on my form and what to do when the waves came in.
It was really great to ride the big waves definitely had a blast and great first time surfing experience.

Addy is amazing instructor! While some others stay on the surf for a few seconds me and my wife got on the board and ride from the begging of the wave almost to the sand on the beach!

Kurt was an amazing instructor! Taught me everything I needed to know before we entered the water! Made me very comfortable and ready for surfing and it was so much fun!
