Great pizza, there’s really nothing they can do wrong. Had an awesome meal with the family. 12/2/2023.

Its was our first time but definitely not the last. Our bartender GINA was the best most fabulous amazing with a gorgeous smile and fantastic service and delicious cocktails. John with the amazing beard and attitude. He and Gina made our vacation the best here ever. We will taking and making these memories last forever.

Absolutely loved this place! Ocean view, great service, and amazing food! I had the "Hook, Line and Sinker" dish and it genuinely was the best dish I've had at a restaurant! 10/10 I would recommend.

Loved this place! It was a wonderful atmosphere for dinner and food was incredible! We got the carne fries twice they were so yummy.

Love it here. The menu keeps shrinking though. I miss the pepperoni fries. And the half chicken is now a chicken breast only and for a lot more money than before. Like, shrink it or raise the price if it isn't making enough money, not both at the same time! That half chicken was so good before.

Overall though, it's one of my favorites. And they are so sweet with dogs.

Had been to Kai a few days ago and while the food was decent, I was very disappointed by the server. I asked to be seated next to the water and the place was clearly empty, but the server started passing passive aggressive remarks like, "Oh well, I'll have to move everything and now everyone will see it". They could have clearly said a No without being so rude. The food wasn't great too. So will give this one a pass next time.

The service was awful along with every single dish we ordered. The ribs were dry, the bed of cole slaw underneath had no flavor, the mashed potatoes that came with it was bland. It was overall a terrible experience.
The host was friendly but everyone else seemed over it and it felt uncomfortable sitting there.

Good food and beautiful views. Sunsets are a must at this place and their food are delicious. They serve mainly pizzas and burgers. This place is by the water so you can hear the waves crashing. Wide selection of beers and the price is reasonable.

Very friendly staff and a parking close by ($14.00/hr) just get there a bit early because it gets full fast. No worries there are public parking closeby

Server was kind and very friendly, food was unfortunately pretty mediocre. Pizza was very floppy, had too much parm cheese and just wasn’t appetizing. Beer was warm. We’ll be trying a different spot next time.

Kai's "Waiaka" burger was excellent, featuring cheddar, bacon, caramelized onions and a tasteful amount of BBQ sauce (not too much). The burger was moist and "wipe your hands and mouth after each bite" messy (that's a good thing in my opinion). I'm looking forward to trying another burger at Kai.

Slowest staff ever.over worked and underpaid probably. Drunk or high busser dropped same fork 4 times. 20min to get a drink 40 min to get refill.

Dropped in on our first full day in Kona. Server recommend the pizza, saying ingredients were imported from Italy and that two Italians who were recently here for Ironman came back two days in a row because the pizza was so good. I never have to be twisted into get pizza, so I obliged. Went with the Luau. It seemed like within 5-10 minutes it was on our table. Super quick. Cooked exceptionally well. Nice atmosphere and right on the water too. Definitely recommend!

The view was nice and the food was okay if overpriced. The real problem was the waitress was incompatinte and took forever to put our order in. My wife ordered coffee and it did not come till we were done with our meal. I tried to get her attention several times but she did not acknowledge me. We overheard other tables receiving free coffee due to some problem with the machine. We did not. They say they offer validated parking but i was told we have to receive the validated parking at the front desk before we sit down. We were not informed of this. Nice view, bad experience.

We were on Hawaii for 2 weeks and discovered Kai the day we were leaving and it was the best meal we had there. Flawless service and the ceasar salad and burger and fries were amazing and we had been eating in other very nice places that did not compare with Kai.

We had an amazing experience at Kai! When we arrived there was a line at the hostess stand, but they were able to seat our party of five immediately. The food was incredible and you can’t beat the view. Our waiter Timothy was fantastic. He gave us amazing recommendations and took great care of our table. We saw him handle the table next to us as well which was not an easy task. The party seated next to us was made up of rude degenerates who only want to serve themselves. Despite it all Timothy was amazing and deserves all the best for how he handled the situation. Thank you to all the staff at Kai for a phenomenal evening and dinner! Do yourself a favor and visit Kai during your trip:)

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent views, terrible jokes, would definitely come back here next visit

My wife and I love going here. The food never disappoints. And the view is always awesome!

Great service! Food came out promptly and was hot, fresh, and delicious. Even with all that, our server was truly the MVP of the night. Brendon, thank you for serving us for the evening.

You can see the sea view right in front, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Above all, the food was good!
Coconut shrimp is delicious:)
