It was our first time participating in grass volleyball, what an experience! The weather could've been better (no rain) but "lucky we live Hawaii"!

Lovely local park with tennis and pickleball courts and bathrooms and plenty of green space.

Made a quick stop to get a feel of the sand and the warm water between my toes. It was really nice. They have a few picnic tables as well as an open grassy area. There is an area to wash off about 5ft behind the bathroom as well.
I enjoyed the short visit and would go back with my family.

Relaxing, chilling, and comfortable. Close to Times supermarket, and great restaurants. We all need to relax and take a breather.

Playing tennis here is awesome. There are many courts, that are illuminated at night. It's clean and parking is easy

The place is nice and pretty. It's a nice place to take a walk or short bike ride. If you on the loop around the field it's half a mile. It will get very busy when baseball, soccer or other youth sports are going on. They used to have different sport and activity lessons at the rec.center but they haven't since COVID. They have been doing the Kailua Summer Fun programs though. Also the pool is open right now but space is limited and it's for lap swimming only. The tennis courts, basketball courts, skatell park, and playground are all open now. The only drawback is the homeless but they aren't to much of a problem here. Hope you enjoy.

This playground is not meant to be for toddlers, that is a shame and very frustrating for parents with young children. There are a lot more toddlers on the playground during the day than older children, because they are at school. There is No district playground in the area that is fun and safe for toddlers. There is a skate park for older children, a pool for older children and adults. There are plenty of tennis courts for older children and adults but NOTHING for children from 2 - 5 years old.

Waiting to eat at Cinnamon's. Took the kids over to the park to walk and play on the playground. Lots of people playing tennis and swimming in the pool. Nice little park. Could use a little more water on the grass to make it green but who is going to blame them for that. Overall nice little green space in the middle of Kailua.

Ok place there's a pool but you must check the hours many times I went and it was either not open or not open for public free swim. There is showers and ample lifeguards and the place is fairly clean. There is a weight room which is free once you sign up for a safety tour. Great for basketball tournaments. It is close to the public library which is a plus. The park itself is a little iffy in regards to safety but a good thing is the police station is located ajacent to the park. When I was younger I practiced Pop Warner cheerleadering here for Kailua Mustangs and the football team would practice on the huge field. I also remember flying a kite here when I was little as the field has space for this.

It’s got a cool playground. The community center offers many free sports/classes! Love going there with my kiddos!

Awesome place, the indoor courts are in good condition and the staff is great. The bathrooms were not clean but had toilet paper, soap and paper towels which is rare in a park. I would definitely recommend playing basketball or volleyball here.

Close to a paradise. Long beaches connected with Lanikai Beach. Excellent place for paddel surfing, body board, ralaxed swimming snorkeling, and walking.
