Kaimana Tours, Honolulu HI

We enjoyed the hike, but got lost trying to see the scenic overlook. We felt that the map we were given could have been much clearer, because we really were enthralled with the beauty of the hiking area but didn't get to see all of it due to time constraints after getting lost. Glad we chose to do the tour, but it could have been much better with maps & details.

In January 2020, my family and I purchased Go Oahu cards. We went on 2 tours with Kaimana Tours and both were great! We went sailing in the morning and the staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating and we saw beautiful scenery. The other tour we went on was to Hanauma Bay where they provided transportation and snorkel gear. We only had to pay for admission to the bay. I would highly recommend booking with them!

Please be careful. They upcharge for things like life vests without letting you beforehand. Also beware hike was muddy to ankles. Drivers were very nice. Management was rude.

My family and me had a great time with Kaimana Tours, great drivers and nice customer service, we recommend to all my friends.

For those who snorkel but do not want to go through the hassle of taking snorkel gear back to hotels can always rent them. Also great for those who want to go hiking over at Manoa Falls, Diamond Head and Maka'apu Lighthouse and not worry about parking.

Good Experience with kaimana Tours. We took the Mano Falls hike.
1. Arrived on time to pick up at our hotel and dropped off on time as well. Not too many stops to pickup other people which was good and time saving.
2. Tour van was clean and comfortable.
3. We got the water bottle and bug spray which was listed as part of it.
4.our Driver provided us with few details while driving through the town. It would be better if it was more interactive.
5. Hike has to be done by yourself.its a self-guided hike. Driver gave us a 2 min brief about the hike, to do's and not to do's before he left to take the next tour.overall very good if you need transportation and comfortable hike without hassle of driving by yourself.

Very helpful lady. After helping us with the equipment, she told us where to snorkel in the bay and also gave a few tips about parking.

I had one of the best days ever in Hawaii because of Kaimana Tours! I did the Diamond Head tour this time and I had so much fun with my family! Everyone I spoke with on the phone was so organized and professional it made what seemed like a lot to set up and do very quick and efficient and most importantly fun! What an experience, highly recommend if your on island.

Booked two tours with them using the Go Oahu Card. Both experiences were great.

First tour was a hike up Diamond Head. The only complaint was they gave over 2 hrs between drop off and pick up. The hike itself only take 60-90 minutes, but there is a good truck and small gift shop to occupy some of the text while you wait.

Second tour was for snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Provided plenty of time to snorkeling and enjoy the beauty of the park. Gear was provided as part of the trip.

Drivers were very friendly and on time.

Booked a tour for my family that was staying on the island and it was so fun! Would recommend to anyone coming on the island of Oahu!

My husband and I reserved a Diamond Head Crater Hike through Kaimana Tours days before we left for our trip to Hawaii beginning April 14,2018. The night before our reservation they called at 8 PM to let us know they were cancelling the hike because we were the only ones to sign up for the early hike. My husband tried his best to get them to keep our tour but they wouldn't do it. We had also booked a Hanauma Bay Snorkeling trip through them. Zhen Zhang was our driver; the driving was aggressive; the snorkeling gear we were given was dirty - sand was still on it. We purchased the use of two dry snorkel registers but one didn't work, water regularly got into the snorkel. Zhen was told about the non-functioning register but nothing was done. Due to our experience with Kaimana Tours we would definitely not recommend them to others.

Hanauma Bay snorkeling and Diamond Head Hike
We did both Hanauma Bay snorkeling and Diamond Head Hike on 2 different days. We did the 6am hike up Diamond Head which was great and a lot cooler doing that in the early morning. Did Hanauma Bay snorkeling from 7am-12noon which was awesome going that early as the beach is not crowded that early in the morning. We took their shuttle both days and highly recommend doing that as driving in Honolulu is crazy. Both were great experiences.
