Kaimuki Camera reviews
8Great shop, the owner really knows a lot about older cameras, lenses and accessories and isn't pushy
This camera store seems to have lots of items and gear for your camera needs. Unfortunately, they are only an authorized canon retailer so they don’t sell Sony gear.
Will not go to this store again. Purchased a lens leash, the adhesive fell off almost immediately. Took it back with a receipt and the sales person denied it was theirs. The sales person had a dismissive attitude, was snappy & said I should write to the company to get a replacement. They would not replace a $4 item! Poor attitude, poor service, no respect!
Very small, locally owned store. I went here with a friend that's an avid photographer. She was looking for a type of lense, which the owner seemed to have a de ent selection. He engaged in conversation and knew his products.
When you need a biometric passport picture and any other camera accoutrements, come here. (oh, you should also be on Oahu, since that's where they are.)
Great mom and pop camera store! They had exactly what I needed and helped me quickly so I could get back to my trip!
I came to Kaimuki because I forgot some equipment back home; when I came to Hawaii for vacation. When I entered the store I was received very politely and was helped with getting the equipment I needed. I was also briefed on how to use the equipment's features which I was very thankful for; you usually don't find big retail stores doing that. Also, I did enjoy the conversation that I had with the people there.
Overall I was very pleased with my experience in this store. And will have this store as my go-to camera store when in Hawaii.
Very rude owners, tiny place, not much variety and parking was crowded. Woman owner actually was so rude I will never return there.
