Kaimuki Community Park reviews
10Nice park but not updated. Needs more accessible restrooms. Parking is also a challenge because there is no lot and Waialae is always busy. Better off parking down the street.
A nice park to hang out at. It has basketball courts (indoor & outdoor), tennis courts, you can set up volleyball or bochi ball nets, and has a playground and a couple nice large patches of grass. Only real setback is there's only street parking, majority of which are metered, or the paid parking lot across the street.
Always be aware as sometimes homeless will hang out there (they'll usually keep off to the side by themselves), although they usually will vacate the park when there's groups of people.
Great park for the family especially kids, they have a great play area to keep them busy and get there energy used up. Mahalo
Large enough park with 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball court, swimming pool and baseball square. Great for day time activities and picnics
Loved that the lights stayed on until 10pm on a Monday, however it's that really bad yellow light that hurts your eyes after a while. Time for an upgrade to lower energy consumption lights that are easier on the eyes.
Uh, walked there only to find no actual playground for kids.didnt realize it was so difficult to find a playground in Oahu.
Rundown playground, with tennis courts and basketball courts on Waialae. Parking is limited since it's just street parking. They took down the swings since they were getting pretty beat up so no swings anymore. Often homeless people loitering around. Tennis courts are pretty well kept and often deserted though so it's great for my son who just likes to hit the ball around.
Recently resurfaced. Great to play on. Needs fence between volleyball and basketball courts. Parking is limited to street metered or municipal across the street.
Great park, lots of kids, basketball and tennis courts. Great location, limited parking and swings. Playground area is a little dated and rundown.
