We home had been here for breakfast. But then we came here for dinner. The menu is limited, but we had the steak and the ahi tuna. Both of them were excellent. Good salad and a nice choice of wine. We will need to save room for dessert.

Best breakfast and coffee on the island! Reasonable prices, very efficient and friendly staff. Went twice and only waited few minutes in line. They are very organized! Love that they offer healthy options; not a lot of places offer healthy breakfast that taste amazing! Highly suggest the corn bread muffin, yumm

We had the Paniolo Breakfast and the Breakfast Burrito.

I thought both were average / above average (with the Burrito being a bit better).

The Paniolo Breakfast seemed a bit bland to our palates. We wife chose “smoked turkey” with it, but were a bit disappointed that it appeared to be turkey lunch meat (not what we expected).

The POG is delicious here.

The coffee is tasty, they make good espresso based drinks. It’s nice that they have a dine in line and a take out / coffee line. I love that. The pastries looked tasty but we didn’t try one.

You order, grab a number, then snag a free table.

Best I have had on Kauai. Totally local and made in house menu, made to order, fresh as can be, and delicious. I had the seared ahi and coconut cake. Both dishes were outstanding. Our servers were prompt and friendly. I say it is a must stop if you are on the West side of the island.

The food was delicious. I ordered the salmon eggs benedict and a tumeric honey latte, and got a slice of strawberry cake to go. The cake was very moist and such a nice flavor.

Only complaint: we were a party of 5 adults and a baby. You have to order first then seat yourself, and at the time the only seating available was a table for 4 immediately next to a table for 2. We didn't see the note to not move the tables because it is in a small font at the bottom of a paragraph on a little plaque at the table, and we hadn't had the chance to sit down and read it. We had one waitress scold us for moving the table, then a second waitress came and yelled at us more while we were actively moving the table back in its original position. We made a mistake and were fixing it, the rudeness of the second waitress was not necessary. She pushed the table way past it's original spot so it was out of alignment with the other tables and the walkway on the other side was too narrow to walk through.

The wait staff showed great hospitality especially for a group of 7. We did have to spilt up our group with two tables since they were real busy. Food took about an hour to get but it was worth the wait. French toast was my favorite.

Big tasty breakfasts, excellent coffee and tantalizing pastries and desserts. Staff hustle so even if there's a line, service is quick. We made a point to come back for a second time during our 5 day visit

Wow. We visited here a few years ago and couldn't wait to get back on this recent trip. Kalaheo Cafe is such a great little find. Breakfasts are amazing, dinners are just a great. They don't have a huge menu but what they have is top notch. If you like a good coffee I suggest the "Morning Madness" to get your day started.

This is a great breakfast stop on the way to Waimea Canyon. The omelet, burrito, hash browns, and pastries were all delicious. The restaurant is charming but small, so get there when they open if you want to find a seat.

Didn’t want to bring your great reviews down, but the restaurant was closed for this week and it’s kind of frustrating to drive a ways across the island only to find this out as we pull into your parking lot. I completely understand that small businesses need time off too! But it would be so helpful to update your hours on Google to save someone quite a bit of time… especially when they are hungry.:)

I had the cinnamon bread French toast and the locally grown grilled veggie “Benny” (eggs Benedict). Don’t judge- I was hungry. I left uncomfortably stuffed because they were both so good I cleaned both plates. The French toast was caramelized on the edges and perfect in the middle. The Benedict’s eggs were cooked just as they should be. And the Hollandaise was yum! Tasted my husband’s mango smoothie on the way out. One of the best smoothies I’ve ever tasted. If I hadn’t been so full I would have ordered one to go. Lol. Slow. But worth the wait for cooked to order yummy food.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. We ordered online which was great for someone who needed to modified their meal due to dietary preferences (could subtract and add items easily). Husband also loved the apple crum cake dessert. Somewhat busy parking lot but people were coming and going enough that we didn’t have an issue.

Love love love this place. Amazing breakfast! We kept coming back during our one week stay in Kauai. The French toast is out of this world. The smoked salmon benny was absolutely delicious. The longboard sandwich was SO good. Even the stack of pancakes was so tasty. And all of it was decently priced. Great coffee too (Kauai roast). Fast friendly service. I'd come back every day if I could. ️

Scrumptious! My mom and I split the turkey pesto melt and the avocado bacon grilled cheese and both were so tasty! We also got the Thai chicken soup which was delightful. The staff is lovely and helpful! Highly recommend!

One of the best breakfast places on the island!

We love everything here but my absolute favorite is a single pancake (they are made of magic) and cafe fries. The “Benny’s” are delicious per my husband and the “knuckles” are cinnamon rolls from the gods.

Staff is always pleasant and service is fast - only downside I can find is parking can be a pain. We get here early to avoid the craziness.

We t here for breakfast. Got the special scramble with koloa pork. It was the perfect savory combo. Also got cinnamon sweet bread french toast and it was perfectly cooked and sweet. Recommend a side of Papaya and fresh seasonal fruit as well as the corn muffin.
