Kama'aina K9 Adventures, Waipahu HI

Secure environment and my dog always has a blast. Comes home exhausted from playing all day. Attentive quality staff that work well with dogs. Love getting the report card mid day to see how my dogs day is going.

Kama'aina K9 is wonderful. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I started by taking our Puppy at the time and they really helped her become more confident as she grew. She comes home exhausted and happy every time. The staff has been wonderful from the start and understanding of our senior dog as well. Now, both go regularly and I can't recommend them enough. It's the peace of mind and the exhausted, happy pups that keep me coming back 3x a week!

The staff is very caring, they sent me a daily report with pictures. Wow was so relaxing on our trip, knowing our Bella was being so well cared for. Overall great experience.

Would like to say "THANK YOU" to Kamaiana K-9 for being there when I needed to have my "Maka" stay overnight on so short notice.
The staff is so helpful and I can clearly see that they have lots of love for my boy. My boy is always so excited to go there. I highly recommend Kamaiana K-9
to anyone who wants your dog to be taken care of, with lots of love, have some fun in the sun even in the water sometimes while you're @ work or got errands to run and not have to worry about them. Your dog will definitely thank you for bringing them there.

My puppy was super excited to have a play day, especially outdoors. The staff welcomed us at the entrance, sent photos and the evaluation. Good communication, puts your mind at ease. Mahalo!

Very knowledgeable! They’re very specific on details of what the facility provides. I feel my pups will be safe and they’ll also enjoy all the new friends they’ll make. I love it!

Best doggie daycare on the island! They love and take care of my dog like she's their own. Lots of fun areas to play and communication is great!

We called them at the last minute because we had an emergency and needed to place our baby at the last minute. Most places we called, basically scolded us for needing a last minute placement, and told us that they couldn't accommodate it. Kama'aina was so nice and patient and worked with us to get everything done in the short time that we had available.
We were very nervous about her socializing because she had never done it before and she had pretty bad anxiety. OR SO WE THOUGHT!
Kama'aina was amazing with her and encouraged us to socialize her and we are so glad that we did! She had a great time, and all the pictures and report cards they sent were so great to see. It helped to ease my worried heart and we are even planning to sign her up for regular visits.
Kama'aina is a great establishment and I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Our Ramona LOVES to run (Greyhound mix), so much so that she can sometimes overwhelm other dogs. But they way Kama'aina K9 separates their furry friends was perfect and Ramona had an absolute blast! The staff was super friendly, organized, and reassuring. We will be returning soon so that she can see her friends again. Also, she slept for 24 hours straight after just a 4 hour visit.

Our dog Popeye is a 1 yr old american bully and has not had a lot of interaction with other people or dogs. When we arrived we were met by Remy who was very welcoming but could tell she was a little concerned with Popeyes behavior, so she asked for another trainer to give him an evaluation. So out comes Kehau to meet Popeye. She immediately greeted him with a loving voice and a commanding presence. Popeye immediately took to her and followed her commands. We were so relieved to have Kehau handle him. It was such a relief to know he was in good hands. After 1-1/2 hours I was about to call to see how he was doing, and I recieved an email update on his behavior with 3 photos of him at Pirates Cove, and he looked really happy.
I cant say enough how thankful we are to KK9, especially Kehau to help with his boarding during this time we have to move back to the mainland.
I would recommend KK9 to anyone that is looking for caring people to take of your pup when you need.

Staff and caretakers are always very friendly upon arrival and pick up. They always take care of my happy boy and even upload photos of the highlights of each visit. Sometimes he gets seperated as he’s very happy and gets too excited. But the staff are experts and take action as needed. Kama'aina K9 Adventures for the win!

My dog is almost 10 years but has the energy of a puppy and I have to run with her at least once a day to make her a little tired so to help me out I started to bring her here to run and socialize which has definitely helped! My dog also likes to correct dog when coming up to her face and likes to growl when she plays which scares owners sometimes so I’m happy they gave her a chance and saw that she’s just very vocal! Overall my dog seems to have a good time and always comes back and takes a nap so I’ll definitely continue to take her!

Open House was great. The staff is amazing - giving each dog daily personal attention. The facility is safe and secure. Lots of unique and very large areas to socialize and/or find solitary rest, if necessary. Raised & covered/shaded cots throughout the play areas as well as fresh water that is changed regularly. The dogs are going to have so much fun! Looking forward to our next trip with full confidence that the pups will have as much, if not more fun on their vacation than we will on ours.
