I had such a wonderful experience here. I had a delicious honey cinnamon latte while we walked around the property. I also bought a shirt that didn't quite fit. I called and talked to Lou who was very helpful and thankfully they have a shop in Kona that I was able to go in for an exchange. There, I got a chai latte that was phenomenal. I didn't get the woman in Kona's name but everyone was super helpful. 10/10 recommend the coffee and the service.

This app has great products. My son and I came across it adventuring in 2016. I liked it enough to stop again on this trip with my wife. We got several items to bring home. The coffee products are not cheap, but they are a value based on the quality of the products. They have a covered car area just outside the shop and attached to the building. We did not explore that area, so I don't know what they have out there.

Great storefront with wonderful farm grown coffee and macadamia nuts. There’s a nice cafe that sells espresso drinks, smoothies, and baked goods. We took their 1pm free tour-about 20” long and even kids like it. FYI if it’s raining tour is cancelled. They have an amazing assortment of coffees to sample. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

Great place to see a coffee farm, get FREE coffee tasting, and buy handcrafted drinks. There are two free coffee farm tours a day at 11am and 1pm. They don't have coffee tours on the weekend though. The gift shop smelled like coffee heaven! There is outside seating to enjoy your drinks, and they have a very clean public restroom. They also have a store in Kona if you just want to get some of their coffee.

Hawaii also has Kau Coffee. Conado and Ryan are also famous.
Cow Coffee is steadily taking its place.

I have decided to change my 1 star review to a 5 star review because of the level of customer service that I received from the assistant manager after I posted my negative review below. The assistant manager apologized for his employee’s actions via email, and assured me that he would speak to the employee who turned us away. He also offered a complimentary tour and coffees for our group, as well as a discount code for their website. Unfortunately we will not be able to take him up on his on-site offer, but do plan on checking out the website.

After driving several miles off of the main road to buy 4 cups of coffee, one of the employees saw us pull into the parking lot and flipped the “Open” sign to “Closed” when we were getting out of our car. Granted, it was 3: 59 pm and they closed at 4: 00 pm. We didn’t want a tour, to purchase gifts in the gift shop, or to use the restroom. All we wanted were 4 black coffees for our long drive home. There were patrons in the facility being waited on, and we were still turned away. I would like to recommend that this business put their hours of operation out on the main road, and make certain that it reads “We close at 3: 59 pm, No Exceptions”.

Our family of five from Texas and Oklahoma visited Oahu and the Big Island for Spring Break! We were driving from Hilo to Naalehu and happened to see a sign for the Kau Coffee Mill and decided to stop by! So glad we did! There were not any tours that day since we were there on a Sunday, but the employees took the time to give us a “mini tour” inside the store front! We learned quite a lot about the coffee operation and enjoyed the little tour! We sampled some coffee they had before deciding which ones we wanted to purchase! The employees were very friendly and helpful in deciding which coffees would be best for our taste! Would recommend visiting if you are in the area!

Pretty cute coffee place. They have a coffee shop up front for you to buy a cup of coffee or a bag of beans. You can sample the different types they have available before you choose which is nice. They have plenty of sitting area outside that overlooks the orchard. If you would like to walk around instead of sitting, they let you walk around the orchard. They also have free tours at 11 and 1 o'clock if you would like to know more about their process

The best thing was the wonderful smell of coffee that greets you when you enter the sales room. The milk was all out, the choice was soy or oat milk. At $6, a small latte was almost twice as expensive as the delicious coffee in the lounge at the Vulcano Visitor Center. The types of coffee offered for sale are around twice as expensive as the coffee in Hamburg's Elbgold. You would think that you could get the coffee directly from the producer cheaper, but that was a bit disappointing, hence only 3 stars. We didn't do the farm tour.

Lots of free samples of coffee! Very reasonable price for plane black brewed coffee too! Only like $3 for 16oz I think.
