Kauai Kookie Bakery & Kitchen reviews
17 As tourists, we love to try new to us and local. This happened to be our second choice, because they were actually open on Tuesday's. What a great place for lunch! Such a variety of lunch foods, some ready to go, if you are in a rush.
I had the ginger fried chicken. Off the charts good! Dessert was liloki pie. Rich and delicious. And, the best place to grab any flavor (and then some) of their famous Kauai cookies. Can't wait to try the pineapple macadamia minis!
Delicious food provided by a warm hearted, kind team. We loved the sweetbread French toast especially!
Great coffee and goodie break on our way to Waimea Canyon State Park. Loaded up on Kauai Kookie gift boxes to take home!
Worst attitude given by the two people who were here at the counter today. When asked if the chai latte was a masala or cinnamon, he was like I don’t know with a shrug. We had ordered 3 items and was given only two. When enquired no you ordered only two. We then ordered again and we were given the worst attitude ever. They both looked lazy and gave a damn about the customers who were there.
Not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a case full of fresh cookies to choose from but all they had were pretty packaged cookies which are really good. They also make deli sandwiches.
Moco loco was out of this world. Breakfast bowl hit just right. Coffee was made exactly as I’d hoped… DELICIOUS. Seriously, get yourself a solid DELICIOUS meal here… and maybe a treat to take with.
Great local place for breakfast. Loved the French toast breakfast. We could not eat it at all at the table. More than enough.
It really wasn't what we expected. Looking for fresh cookies. The only cookies they have are "manufactured"/packaged cookies.
The brownies and Chocolate cream pie was very tasty.
Stopped for breakfast.twice. Very nice people. Breakfast was big and really good. Eggs, bacon and super good sweet bread French toast. Yumm!
Recommend for breakfast for sure
Really wish we would have found this place sooner. We've been on the island for 5 days, spending lots of money on overpriced and often mediocre food. This place was refreshing. $40 for 4 of us - good breakfast sandwich, French sweet bread, scrambled eggs, and a huge acai bowl. Just good food at the right price. Saw more locals here than at any other breakfast spot on the island.
Nice place to buy some food and coffee souvenirs, too.
Clean enough bathroom.
Not a ton of seating, maybe 7 tables. Able to grab a spot as other parties departed.
I had some of their scone, and apple turnover pastries, they were some of the best I have ever eaten!
Busy at breakfast and lunch time. The menu is full of breakfast meals, plate lunches and local choices. Give it a try, I'm sure you will enjoy your meal. Locals go there so you know it's good.
A great little shop to add as a stopping point on your way to Hanapepe or Waimea to pick up some treats. If your a fan of Kauai Kookies, then this place is a must. A good assortment and stacks of boxes of the cookies can be found on many shelves. I found flavors of cookies that weren't typically found in any one store in Kauai. This is a good store to load up and take treats back to your room or to pack up for your return trip home.
We loved the cookies, the breakfast and the attention. Thank you tourists for being patient!
Good breakfast spot and awesome bakery. You can find there items all over the island. Their cookies were very good, we don't know exactly what flavor but they tasted like good sugar cookies. For breakfast there we had some awesome French toast, it was so so good. We would definitely recommend checking this place out for breakfast or lunch, and of course try their baked goods somewhere on the island while you are here.
The factory outlet store has the best prices, and will ship your order.
Worth a stop.
