Keoki's Paradise reviews
19Our waiter Raymond was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient. Surroundings are purely tropical and lovely. Food was very good. The issue was that the whole experience was rushed. You could tell that these servers were told to get people in and out ASAP. Unfortunate as the surroundings are so relaxing. I totally get they don’t want people taking 3 hours for a dinner meal but lordy. We could only get a dinner reservation at 4 pm and they had us out the door well before 5: 30. That was cocktails, appetizers, dinner, and coffee and bill paid. Thank goodness Raymond was as good as he was.
We had the Duroc Pork Ribs slow cooked Imu Style, with Mashed Potatoes and Carrots. Pork Ribs were fall off the bone tender, Island BBQ sauce had a nice flavor and was cooked on. Big Eye Poke had Sesame Shoyu, Avocado, Onion, Namasu, Kalo Chips and was delicious. Dessert was a Banana Coconut Cream Pono Pie, Hana Maui Bread Fruit, Coconut, Banana Nut Crust with a Tropical Fruit Relish which was only Ok. Servers are very nice and service is quick. I would definitely come again.
We got take out and this is what they gave for a dish that cost $15.3 pieces of bread and one tablespoon of the dip. When we called, they asked us to drive all the way back so that they can have a look at it. It’s the middle of the work day and we just wanted to have some food for lunch! We also cancelled our dinner reservation at this place! The fried chicken burger I got was also flavorless!
We came like 20 mins before their last seating (9pm) and the hostess/waitress was super welcoming and nice. The environment itself was really relaxing and clean! Pina Colada's 10/10 and Hand Crafted Nachos were 9/10, we ordered it with Cajun Grilled Prime Ribs and there was very little pieces, but overall delicious. The poke stack was 8/10, it delicious but a little pricey. We also ordered the seafood risotto and honestly it was a 5/10, it was so plain and all the ingredients were very little for the price. The lobster tail was like a finger long at most and one piece of shrimp and very little shiitake mushrooms. I don’t even think there was fresh fish in my risotto. Overall, the service was really good and the food. Would come and try again but not the risotto.
What a great place! Staff was very nice. I had the pork chop special and it was pretty amazing. I choose it over the swordfish and I was not disappointed! Dont forget ti try the hula pie! It's a must!
Came here twice on our visit. We love the vibes. True feeling of in the jungle. Get the hula pie for dessert. Amazing.
Superb decor, wonderful staff, excellent food and drinks, takes reservations. This place gets everything right!
Great place to eat at the beach. Food was great, you must try the drinks, and the service was awesome
Made reservations online a few days earlier for a Saturday brunch. The inside of the restaurant has an incredible atmosphere. Got the Loco Moco, family got the fish tacos and the french toast. All were great, would definitely go back.
This is hands down one of my favorite Hawaiian restaurants, and honestly, I’d call it an experience. The atmosphere was superb. The wait can be a little bit, however enjoy the wait at the bar—chances are you probably won’t even want to be seated at the table.
The food here is exceptional. Especially on there specialty days. Burgers and Beers, Taco night, etc.
The ambiance is what really sells this place! Live music makes it exceptional. But the ponds on the patio, the rock formation with red lights (to look like a volcano), it’s all so incredible. There’s no bad seat in this whole restaurant.
Next time I visit Maui this is the ONE place I absolutely have to return to. If you’re looking for a great spot, you have to come here!
Keoki's Paradise has amazing food, no wait if you reserve a table, and is in a great location. One thing I especially enjoyed at Keoki's Paradise was the Hula Pie. The service there is amazing, and I definitely recommend going there!
In my opinion this restaurant rivals Mama’s Fish House. Food and drinks were great and the atmosphere is awesome considering its just on a street corner.
The food was basically more expe Cafeteria food but the worst part was how long we had to wait to get our food. We had ordered thanksgiving dinners almost 3 days before the holiday, and we still had to wait for the food for nearly 3 hours past the time that they told us it would be ready. Go here if you want to wait hours for your food to be ready.
Reservation for significant anniversary. Not seated on time and then relegated to kitchen area.street traffic noise, no paradise features of waterfalls, torches or greenery, and no server. We left.
Excellent service and food! We arrived for lunch we were seated immediately. The setting has open view to a water feature that makes you feel like your in the forest. I had the signature Mai Tai. Recommend it
Service is awesome food is incredible. Seafood is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Prime rib is my favorite followed off by hula pie.
Food was good and fish selections were excellent. Local beers on draft were a nice plus. The hoisin ribs and onion soup were on point as was the fresh fish duo, which was marlin and mahi. The fish and chips did not disappoint the table either! All in all, nice place with live music and they took us on a walk in on a Saturday night (this was hard to find during this covid time while we were there)!
Just had dinner there tonight, made last minute reservation for 8: 30pm and when we got there, we were told live music unfortunately already ended at 8pm. We were sat at the far right away from the fountain and action, though the tiki torches were still pretty. For dinner, SO and I shared hoisin ribs and calimari for appetizer and fish and chips for entree. They ran out of Maui onion soup. Hoisin ribs tasted interesting with anise and a nice char, though the inside was warm, not piping hot as I would’ve hoped. Calimari had 4-5 large pieces like chicken tenders, I’ve never had calimari that huge but it was tender and nicely breaded. The guava cocktail sauce did not have any guava flavor to it which was disappointing. The fish and chips was very average. The mahi mahi was bland, thickly breaded, and overall not pleasing to eat. The fries were awful, tasted like it came out of the freezer bag and barely fried, warm inside and not crispy at all, we couldn’t eat it at all.
Waitress was friendly but seemed very distracted and busy, we were so hungry and couldn’t get her attention multiple times, we were going to order hula pie but ended up skipping it because the overall food and service just made us want to leave and we didn’t want to give this place more business.
Maybe this place would be better during the day time when you could see more of the surroundings with music, or happy hour when the prices are better, but I won’t return here.
The food was solid but the cook on the fish dishes could have been better. One person in our group had the fish and chips, which were very tasty.
