Kiser Motorcycles, Kailua-Kona HI

Came in for a safety check and told us we needed new tires. Charged us about $900 for new tires and installation and two days later, my husband almost got into an accident because the NEW tires went flat.
Turned around and said it’s because the rims were rusted. How on earth did the OLD tires last for years and months without going flat? ! He says it’s because the tire pressure has been low so it hasn’t been touching the rim. Yes, but your tech guys added air to it during the safety inspection and we drove it around for 3 weeks while waiting for the new tires with NO problem! But when you put the new tires, it became flat the next day! We had to get it towed to them. And they had the audacity to charge us for the tow truck! Feeling entitled and taking advantage of the locals just because they are the only motorcycle shop in Kona! The way the manager spoke to us was very unprofessional and even walked away because they Didn’t want to accept blame or be liable for anything! Absolutely no aloha! Doesn’t even deserve a one star. Disgusted and disappointed!

I couldn’t find the bike I wanted on Oahu. Just when I was going to settle on one here I thought, “maybe another island would ship over here. ” I called them up and they were like “yeah, we do that all the time. ” They had the one I wanted on the way and helped me work out all the details in the meantime. The whole process was painless and everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. They got it shipped over pretty quickly through Young Brothers. The bike was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I was able to unpack it, cut off the zip tied key, attach the mirrors and ride it out of the harbor. I received the spare key and paperwork by mail just ahead of its arrival to Oahu. A couple weeks later they sent over the plate, registration, and safety check docs. Super happy with my bike and the team over at Kiser Motorcycles. Thank you guys! Now if I can just stop myself from buying accessories for it.

Awesome place, even better people. I rode in drenched from the rain after my bike had trouble starting. They quickly found that the previous owner replaced the battery with the wrong size. Even though they were swamped, they took the time to figure it out, swap the battery, and then didn’t even charge me for labor. Mahalo!

These people charged me $1692 to find what I had told them was most likely an electrical problem on my 2010 Honda motorcycle. They told me the charging system was fine and it was the fuel pump (which l had replaced Before I brought them the motorcycle). They replaced the fuel pump with a Honda certified fuel pump, replaced the spark plugs and got it running. The guy at the desk said all his technicians test drove the bike (Which I took as exaggeration). I drove the bike home (10 miles) and had the same problem. They then told me to change the gas and mix in saefoam. No difference. I then brought the bike back on a trailer with still only 10 miles on it and that's when they told me the Voltage Regulator, Rectifier was not putting out the right voltage. I then picked up my bike with a trailer and replaced the voltage regulator myself.

Super friendly and welcoming. Made me feel a part of the family and I was just there looking at the new bikes and quads that they have coming out. The guys are really nice and willing to help out. Definitely going back for any needs I have on my bike.

Just want to give a huge shoutout to Blake in the service department for going above and beyond multiple times to get my bike sorted out. His service department helped fixed an electrical issue with my bike that was extremely difficult to track down. Thank you to Frank as well for all the hard work.

I can’t believe how easy these guys are to work with! I just built and ordered my new Polaris! I was supper thrilled with their (Dave) professionalism and willingness to help get what I need! I was stunned at the pricing, even though it would be cheaper on the mainland, you have to understand where you are! Hawaii is not cheap! Got what I wanted, at a respectable price! Sad I have to wait almost 6 months, but that’s how it goes! Could be worse! I will post pics when I get it! Can’t wait!
