Knots Coffee Roasters. at Queen Kapiolani Hotel Waikiki / Honolulu Café reviews
15Excellent coffee shop! Most coffee places in Waikiki have long lines but this must be a well-kept secret, had a Flat White twice and they were both excellent. They use Big Island Coffee Roasters coffee which is my all-time fave coffee. Some great food options too
Since I've been here on vacation, I've been going here almost every morning to drink a very, very good cappuccino. Christian makes the cappuccino with a lot of dedication and professionalism. Overall, everyone at the bar is in a good mood and very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, tasteful and relaxed. We recommend!
Slowest ‘service’ and most expensive coffee I’ve ever had. Flat white coffee and iced matcha were tasty but 20min wait when there’s no queue is unacceptable. US$19.95 for two drinks and poor service is a rip off.
I normally don’t ever bash on small coffee shops but this one left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I’m not just talking about the coffee itself. The baristas are awfully rude and will snub you. If you are staying at Queen K, I’d just walk the 100 meters right to the nearest Starbucks as it has better service and doesn’t feel like you’re a bother ordering your latte.
This might be the nicest coffee shop I've ever been to. It's in the lobby of the hotel.
We have been first time and ordered coffee with croissants and they were soook good! That’s why decided to come back for breakfast, and that’s was so terrible, awful! First, order should be waited for more then 30min (they told us) it was 40min. Second of course food is slightly warm. We were only who ordered breakfast food 4 ppl, and they lost one order. Third, they definitely need to learn what is need to be done done after you petted dog - Forks could not be given to the customer without washing your hands. In the end, try to be nice with the customers, lady with fair-hairs
We have this routine of getting an espresso drink and pastry in the mornings when traveling elsewhere. We walked up Kapahulu and back down Monsarrat only to arrive back at QK lobby. The Americano was good and the pastries were very good (especially warmed up). This is surprising to find good pastries in the area. The environment with high ceilings and quasi- plein aire seating is relaxing.
Really chill spot to grab some coffee to relax or get some work done in their awesome patio. Coffee (i ordered a Mocha) was really good!
Best coffee in Waikiki…I had it twice every single day for 8 days bec we stayed at the hotel. Tried other places from Island Vintage to those out at Haleiwa and I would always choose this. Sometimes service can be better there.
Highly recommend the coconut macadamia nut latte or the longboard latte.
Worst coffee experience in Honolulu. Worst service ever. Ordered a double espresso and a latte. Espresso was just sitting under the machine, three of them staff girls just chatting there, i had to go remind them that i ordered an espresso. One of them comes and just pass me the stale espresso and says oh we forgot.you kidding me.
The 2 stars are for the friendly service and the coffee, BUT the coffee still isn't to AUSTRALIAN standard, the fact I ha e to put my own sugar.what's the point.
The food was sub-par and pre made, and there is no menu.
Besides the friendly service, that's where it stops, there is no table service, have to put my own sugar in my coffee and if you want sauce you have to out it yourself as the food is pre made.hence why I don't understand the whole tipping concept, when I get a much better service back home in Australia and I don't have to tip for it.maybe that's why Aussies don't tip. We don't appreciate the sub-standard service we experience in the States.
Starbucks who? This is my go to when in Hawaii. I try to find something different any time I visit somewhere new. This was great!
Both the breezy brown sugar latte and long board were good. Substituting for oatlmilk makes everything better. Blueberry scone (warmed up) was bomb too.
Stayed at the hotel, went twice, once for cold brew and once for hot coffee. Both times I was highly dissatisfied. So much so for my 10 night honeymoon stay we just went to Starbucks 100 feet down the block that’s open earlier and later than Knots. (Im not a Starbucks fan so this says a lot) For the price you get more coffee and a better quality latte. Also between all the coffee spots this one charges the most for almond, oat or coconut milk.
Great coffee - I got an oat milk latte with coconut it was great. The breakfast burrito was super tasty too as was the bacon and cheese croissant.
