Ko Bakery, Lihue HI

I visited today for two things: Lilikoi bars and a house made chai latte. The lilikoi bar was delicious! Top marks. The chai was extremely disappointing; I'm kind of wondering if they forgot to add the chai? It really just tasted like oat milk; no detectable spices or flavor. Very disappointing given that it's made in house!

Best cakes and baked goods on the island. From tropical to traditional. Best coffee drinks on the island, too. Everything is handmade!

The only bakery we found in Kauai that makes coconut cakes, and it was fantastic and they had it ready the next day.

Pineapple Upsidedown cake was very dense, not very cakey. Broke the spoon they provided trying to eat it. No directions were given on proper preparation of the cake, if something else was needed to make it edible it would have been good to know at purchase and not in a review response.

The coffee was alright.

No bathroom for customers, they refused access to a two year old. Had to drive to Safeway.

The Snickerdoodle was very soft and the kids loved them.

Ordered a very last minute 6" Birthday cake for our son and everything was amazing. From the customer service, to the quality, to the flavor, and just the warmth of the people who work there. I wish we lived closer, and am so grateful they were available for my son's 14th bday.

High quality coffee/ tea and baked goods (especially the banana bread with chocolate)! Very friendly and accommodating staff, as well. 5 stars is well deserved.

A delicious little bakery conveniently located outside of the husle of town in Puhi. Definitely recommend.
