Koa Pancake House, Honolulu HI

Ordered a side of toast and the cashier was helpful and informed the mgr of the side order. Mgr gets all upset stating everything is cleaned and the kitchen is closed. Time was 1: 40pm. Store operations are stated as 6: 30am to 2pm. Poor customer service in the manager department.

Really good omelettes and very friendly staff.
My daughters loved the pancakes.
Their coffee could be better.

For the price and location this place is top notch. The menu items are local and very delicious. You get a lot for what you pay for and there's tons of seating. Some good local food. Some ofthe best Portuguese sausage and fried rice I've had on the island so far.

A local coffee shop. It's where we get great local breakfast and lunch. Lots of parking and the best pancakes!

An absolutely great breakfast spot! Sure its not really a trendy place for a date, but the food's great, selection is great, service is great, and the prices are low! Definitely worth trying, and definitely worth it overall

Pretty good stop for brunch. It's typically pretty crowded so expect a wait. As a result, service is a bit slow as well. Got a Denver omelet and it tasted fine, as did the sides. Pretty standard amount of food and price when compared to other brunch places.

Lots of good breakfast choices and such a lovely and friendly environment. We all sang happy birthday (twice so family could record) to a young lady!

The wait time was over 30 minutes because a large order had just been placed. Unfortunately I don't know about it until after I ordered and paid.

Excellent food with generous portions. Ordered the Denver omelette with pancakes and received a huge omelette and multiple pancakes.more than enough to feed at least two people. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely return.

The best pancake house we've been to! The serving size is generous for the price and absolutely delicious. We loved the banana pancakes and the macadamia nut pancakes. The corned beef hash and spam is sooooo good. Fast and friendly service. We came here 3 times in a 7 day trip, it's that good.

One of the better locations I have been to.great customer service.there is parking but unfortunately you do have to pay as with everything on the east side

I've been searching for the best waffle in town. The Koa Pancake House has a waffle that is the best so far. Their pancake has a similar texture, soft and filling. Hits the spot! Check it out.

Employees were very nice and patient as we decided what to order. The portions were really good and the food was delicious. They are worth the drive. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

Omg a breakfast spot that wasn't standing room only. Ordered, sat, food was dropped at the table and we were out in 30 minutes. Go here if you have stuff to do other than wait in line to eat.

This is a nice casual local dining spot. The food is good and so is the price. The Kalbi is especially good and this is one of my favorite place for it.

Called in to place a phone order. Was put on hold for 10 min. Decided to hang up then tried to call back line was busy for the next 45 min. Drove in and the place was empty still tried calling while I stood there and line was busy. This isn’t the first time this has happened.
Hopefully a manager sees this and can fix it.

The portions are large and the food is good! The price is decent and the reception was friendly. The elderly lady working the register was extremely helpful, but a little slow which caused a long backup in the line.

The biggest issue is that the interior is narrow, and theres not much space for ordering and food handling. The line forms down the middle of the resturant making it crowded for seated patrons. Because of the volume of people, it's extremely loud. I wouldn't classify it as a regular resturant, but it's not fast-food either.

The other issue is that orders do not come out together, as a group. They are brought to the table by staff and it could be 5 -10 minutes between plates. For example, our table of 4 received 2 meals 10 min after ordering, a third meal 5 min later, and the last one 10 min after the third. 25 minutes for all 4 meals.

An undercover boss could turn it around and make this place work more efficiently.

I'd like to go back on a weekday and try again. Saturday morning was just too slow and crowded, and it wasn't what I expected from a Pancake House. It was more like a Hawaiian-style McDonalds that only served breakfast, as compared to a restyrabt like IHOP.

It's good, but it's crowded.and when it's crowded, it's slow.
