Kohala Grown Market, Hawi HI

Excellent smoothies and super fresh food options! Vegan options are plentiful. The taro and black bean burgers were great. We got lots of vegan stuff from the grocery store as well. A bit pricey but worth it. It was lovely to sit out on their sunny patio to have our meal.

Cute local health food market with sandwiches and smoothie bowls. Delicious! Stop here when visiting Hawi.

Elegant little deli. However, check the price at the cashier first. I paid $14 for an unmarked 3 ounce chocolate bar.

Really cool spot in a lovely town. Excellent food.seemed to us that the chef needed some help (hard to find more help these days). He expressed, rather publicly, that he was feeling overwhelmed

Excellent little Town Market in a fun place to visit even when the cooks get a little perturbed with a moderate sized group of people placing orders.

What a cool grocer. Great selection of local veggies and meats - it's like a mini farmers market. Everything is local - ice cream, milk, cheese, hot sauce, etc.

Also has a nice wine selection

I had a roast beef sandwich and it was delicious.

Everything here was amazing, it was such a diverse selection of healthly options, hard kombucha, taro burger was so flipping amazing, the green goddess wrap was fabulous.

The staff were so accommodating as we didn't know the burger had an aioli and they gladly remade it and offered egg free options that were so good (cilantro lime crema). We would happily drive across the island just to go back to this market.

The produce was so fresh and unbelievably good (mango), The staff even went out of their way to help us pick the best selection of Soupsop.

The Taro burger was the best I’ve had. I took two bites then stopped to take a photo so I could remember this moment. And then closed my eyes after each bite to enjoy the flavors.

Stop here for a great selection of local products, food and the rosemary chicken sandwich.:) Their smoothies and açaí bowls are amazing also. One of my first stops when I visit.

Great quick stop on our drive through town. Grabbed a quick sandwich, smoothie & snacks. Friendly staff. Lots of variety and food related options. Would recommend stopping in!
