Beautiful public beach on the road to Hana. Several little areas to park though it was pretty full when we were there. There are a few picnic benches to sit at and eat. Ocean was pretty rough when we were there and is not ideal for swimming or small children (unlike the next beach down, which was much calmer).

Nice beach and not at all crowded, we’ve stopped here after we’ve been on the road to Hana. Limited parking places, but if you struggle you’ll find one.

This is by the road to Hana, it’s a nice place to stop by and chill during your drive. There’s also huli huli chicken place near by, one of few place where food is good. You can grab and have it by the beach as well

Beautiful beach. No lifeguards on duty though, so be careful of riptides. We had a lot of fun in the water for a few hours here.

Stopped by here on the way to huli huli chicken which was closed. Spent some time chilling under the shed and dipped feet in the ocean. The red sand makes the beach look quite different from the rest. Some parking next to the shelter and a really good bbq place nearby.

Theres a concerning number of signs warning about rocky and rough waters lol. Decent huli huli chicken though!

Quite a nice place to chill out for a bit from our Road to Hana trip. We specifically went here to get the Huli Huli chicken but they ran out and it was just 1 PM. So their chicken is quite popular specially after getting featured in Gordon Ramsey TV segment. Come here early if you want the chicken while enjoying the beach. The surf was rough and it was quite windy when we visited so we didn't get to try the water off the beach but it was not crowded like the others we saw on the way here.

This was my favorite beach in Maui. Just beautiful views. Water was just perfect. Beach was lonely so that mad it more special just me and the beach listening to the waves crash.

This beach is a great looking beach and for the right individuals it will be a lot of fun. During early September 2022 is when we went to Koki Beach Park but as soon as we checked it out we noticed how there were higher and stronger waves hitting the shores but the sand was still nice like they’d rest of the other beaches in Hawaii.
So didn’t spend much time here and moved on to another destination.

So if you choose to hang out at this beach, make sure you’re not alone as the currents can be strong. There’s even a sign indicating how this beach can be dangerous and has caused drownings in the past.

Just because it’s not safe for everyone, I gave this beach a 3 star rating. I would say move on to the another beach and skip this one unless you just want to take a walk along the beach.

What an amazing place to enjoy you scrumptious huli huli chicken and the gorgeous beach! You can't get any better than this, tableside by the surf! Local musician in the background as well! Huli huli chicken was very tasty and moist!

Nice beach just after Hana. You get a nice view of an island. And the water looked nice to jump in, but it was cloudy out. And the waves were super choppy, so we didn’t go in. We turned around after this and headed home. There is no way you care about that. Sorry for the extra info.

One of my favorite beach stops on Maui. A eclectic mix of beach, mountain, and farm land. So lovely and unique. Relatively quiet. Would absolutely come here again next time I visit.

Beautiful beach! The pics don't do it justice. Made the drive to Hana worth the effort. Small, but not crowded, at least not in August when we were there. Signs warn of rip tides, which I'm sure is a real hazard in winter or during swells, but swimming is very manageable on a calm day.

If you make it through the crazy road to Hana, this beach is worth your life. By far the best beach in Hawaii and very good waves.

Great place to get lunch, the huli huli chicken is amazing.

Incredible location with beautiful shoreline and mountain view.

The actual koki beach is only recommended for very experienced swimmers due to very strong rip currents.

I wish I could have stayed here for the entire day. Just amazingly cool chill spot, huli huli chicken. Not a big beach but a beautiful spot.
