Koko Head Cafe reviews
16Food is good, but the music is too loud, so most people talked loudly to each other. Loud! Couldn't enjoy the food that much.
All the dish was delicious. Reservations is a must as to a long wait. Great place to get brunch.
The loco moco is a solid choice here. The congee was lacking in flavor when mixed in even though it has a lot of toppings on it. I would suggest adding curry in it to make it better.
Went here second time already. This is a very popular spot. Make sure you go early enough in order to avoid the waiting. Meter parking may be available nearby so make sure to bring quarters. Payment required all week. I did see someone issuing tickets so do pay for your parking fee!
I recommend the bibimbap. Everyone orders French toast but it’s not for me. It looks nice but too much sugar and oil in it. I couldn’t finish it at all. Their house coffee is good enough. And they have other good drinks too. Overall it is a very nice spot I would go every time I’m in Honolulu.
We had a fantastic meal.creative and delicious! The ambiance was relaxed and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Food was prepared with attention to detail and our waitress was awesome, complements to the chef plus we meet Reno from Good girls
Your life begins after you have eaten at Koko Head Cafe. Before eating here life is empty and meaningless, but after just one visit and trying the dumplings you will see things clearer.
Highly recommended if you want a life changing dining experience.
We came here for lunch. This restaurant has a very smart system that avoids you having to line up outside, so that was a great thing to see in covid-era honolulu. And we had to wait much less than was initially indicated! Service was nice and food was great. We got the French toast and the bibimbap and found both dishes really delicious. Fully recommend this place, but get into the virtual queue before heading over!
Great service and covid safe. They have gluten free options.
Don’t forget to try their original bloody marry
Outside seating options available.
Nice cozy place. We dinned on a Sunday around 9. I recommend checking in online. The weight was very long but worth it. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Portioning didn't look like a lot of food but everyone was full by the time we finished.
Amazing service and great food definitely going back, don't for to try the hot sauce and dumplings if you go
Too expensive, I can not believe a small piece of French toast cost $18, and it tastes very greasy, made my stomach feel uncomfortable. Although the service was good. Just don’t come.
Awesome food and usually fantastic customer service. They don't do reservations though. Best way to get a table without the wait is to get there a little before they open.
The wait is worth it if you want to go later in the day though
Still the same great food! Staff! And Leanne was there, too! Worth waiting for a table! We eat there 4 or 5 times on our trips to Oahu.
Best brunch! Everything was spectacular! Highly recommend the dumplings and French toast, and you have to get the hash brown!
Good brunch spot. About one hour wait early morning on weekend. A bit pricy given how the food is. It’s good, just not worth the price and wait to my opinion.
