Kona Coast Shopping Center reviews
12It's nice for the people who get off the boat but it's not that exciting for locals.
Came to the area because we found something at a local restaurant we loved and were told the kta had local foods for purchase. Lots of other shops and the post office (sent a ton of things back home). It was very busy but the staff was nice.
It was probably a tasty meal when it was hot but it took forever to get to our table. Slowest service I think I have ever had in a restaurant. And the waitress never came around a second time when we asked for more water. I had to walk up to the hostess get the bill.
Lots of stores are still struggling from the pandemic and were obviously low on staff, but everyone was so kind.
I went to KTA, the local grocery store. It is crowded with tasty LOCAL foods and has a homey feel about it. I was greeted at the door by a security guard (this has always been done, even before Covid) with a smile. I prefer this atmosphere to the big chains which have no personality. Keith, one of the managers, kindly helped me look for my favorite bread. Their bakery is wonderful. I can always find what I need at KTA. Their produce is the best and the cheapest in the area. I am 81 years old and am treated with so much kindness and respect, just like the old days. Mahalo, KTA. Much aloha!
KTA has good prices. Kona Crust has some amazing pizza though it can be a bit pricey. Jamba has great smoothies. The KFC is nice with a drive through for a quick bite. The fun factory is a great place to have fun if you like arcades. The coffee place in the area is good too
Very nice atmosphere and good restaurant we got delicious fish and chips there. Walking along the beach and gift shops there was very pleasant and reminded me of some areas along Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay we enjoy every summer up here. Saw whales far out along there and a beautiful sunset.
It's pretty much the same cookie cutter shopping experience they don't really have anything unique as far as Hawaii goes and was clean the people were friendly it's just a shopping mall
We came here a few times to shop, walk along the water and eat at a restaurant. Nice. Lot's of unique shops.
I could barely taste the tea in my drink it was mostly just milk and sugar. I got the honey boba and it had crystallized honey.
Crunchy drink, no good.
Shopping center with multiple businesses. I enjoy going there because of the relaxed, small crowd atmosphere. There is an auto parts store, a Sally's store, a great hair and nail salon, a Jamba Juice, one of my favorite Chinese food places (Don's), a KTA grocery store (not my fav), and a couple more food places I haven't tried yet. In the parking lot there is a gas station.
Everything you need. $20 cup of juice. Get your nails done while being highly insulted in Tagalog. Bring a shank after dark
