Everything was chef kiss delicious. Excellent food and service. Mahalo Josiah for helping with the recommendations. I had the Kalua nachos and my sisters had the sliders and the pork plate. We shared and every bite was ono! We also tried a couple milk shakes prepared by Elijah; the mud pie and the oreo cheesecake was tasty and refreshing. We definitely will be back so see you bumbye!

The Old School sandwich was delicious and the dude taking orders was super kind and friendly. Great experience.

Brah! Awful Haleiwa bombers. It’s my go to burrito for me and my Ohana and this was absolute garbage. I’ve never tried the Kailua location and it was gross. Ordered 3 Haleiwas and they were so bland and the Kailua pork was soo dry and crusty. Go elsewhere for a breakfast burrito

Kono's is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and the bombs are even better. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Stopped here for a quick lunch after a long hike. Quick service. Bathrooms are down the building and not inside the actual restaurant. In a good area with different shops & stores to see

The roasted pork and bacon bomber, aka chun bomber, (basically a breakfast burrito without the beans and rice) was okay. The meat was unfortunately too dry and stringy. However the salsa was good and goes well with the bomber. The dude manning the till was awesome tho. Such positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for the customer. (We had a simple request for a custom drink to mix guava and pineapple juice). He could have said no, but he got out back without even thinking. I would come back just for the service. Keep up the amazing work saiya! You're going places, if you don't, whomever employed you don't know how to identify talent and you should move on asap where you'll be valued!

Completely overhyped. I was really not impressed with anything about it.
-Crockpot pork
-Cheap ingredients
-Negligent staff
Took a while for the employees to realize somebody's at the counter, let alone in the store.
All To-go with the exception of one table.

This is a great place if you’re looking for a delicious and easy lunch in Kailua. Great quality pork and other local dishes! I had the BBQ pork bomber and it was delicious! It’s a small place with limited seating so you might miss out on a table if you go at busy times but they also do takeaway!

This cozy little place has the best pork tacos I have ever had! You have to try at least one with everything on it, including the guava salsa I believe it was (the salsa it comes with) because all the flavors together make this wonderful melody of flavors.

Josiah ensures the customers are happy, he is very nice and welcoming to all! I will definitely come back. The milkshakes are amazing and the BBQ pork is a must!

The food was really good! Limited meat variety, but they definitely have kalua pork that is great.

Their milkshakes are great and they have tons of options. I highly reccomend getting one.

Kono’s can feed anyone in my family from the bomber to the plate to tacos. I started eating here on the N Shore 20 years ago and so happy they opened in Kailua.

There's this one specific lady I wanna talk about she's a lil short pretty cute has short dark hair and she's so uper duper nice and I totally recommend going here. Everything I got was so foot everything was my kind of perfect. It was so cute there too! Perfect place to go and sit a little snack or whatever you want from this place ofc. It's just amazing. And the lady in the start made my experience there even better! Can't wait till I can go back!

Horribly long wait for 2 simple items off their everyday menu. Food was ok. Tables.are limited and all sticky.

Came here when we first moved to hawaii and was bummed about the small portion sizes. This is the pulled pork plate which came with maybe 4 ounces of pork and 1/2 cup of rice?
For two of these we paid $30 so I just expected more. We took it out and ate as we walked around, ended up stopping for a second dinner because this just didn’t fill us up.
Tasty food but definitely not worth paying $30 for…

If you love pulled pork meals, this is a great spot. Fresh salad with pulled port recommended. Fresh lime/mint drinks and more. Limited eating space inside, some benches on the street outside. Street parking is a bit of a challenge. Consider parking close by and walking over. It's worth here. We ate here multiple times on our recent visit.
