Kualoa Regional Park, Kaneohe HI

When tide is low it's possible to walk to the island in the middle of the water and explore it just be careful when tide comes up

You have both incredible Jurassic park-like views of the hills on one side with incredible ocean views on the other. Lot's of picnic tables and public bathrooms. The beach however is small, so if you are looking for longer beach walks you may want to consider another location. If you are looking for the complete Hawaiian experience of views concentrated in one place this is it!

Great public park with bathrooms near by. Plenty of people had gathered here for pictures or picnics. Great place to hang out before going to the ranch or just relax under some palm trees.

Kualoa Regional Park is a wonderful park along the northeast shore of Oahu. Across the Channel to the northeast you can see Chinamen's Cap Island and turning 180° you can see lush green mountains seemingly jutting up from the seashore. The park has loads of parking in several lots, picnic tables, restrooms with showers and abundant locations to take beautiful pictures. Pretty view, but it looks like not much to do there for a tourist, so a short so would be remote. People don't swim there.

Such a huge park, plenty of parking and so much oceanfront to enjoy. Best to bring water shoes to explore the shallow bay area. Perfect for beaching all day.

Such a beautiful spot. Can’t argue with the sound of waves crashing, wind and sun dialing to a perfect temperature, and chirping of birds nearby. Beautiful area.

Sunday at 9 am. I don't know how it is when it is busy here, but it is so peaceful and quiet. And of course breathtaking view. Wish I could spend the whole day here.

There are lots of coral pieces in the water, though. There is also a great green picnic area all along the beach with restrooms and fresh water showers!

Huge park with a fantastic beach. Be wary of the Portuguese Man-of-War. The view of the mountains behind is also spectacular. Great place to camp or picnic!

We only stopped for a brief time on a tour, but it was a lovely stop! Definitely could spend the day there, doing whatever you want - surf, chill by the beach, picnic under trees.

Absolutely gorgeous location with spectacular views and plenty of clean space to relax. I can see why so many movies are shot in this region.

Great spot to take some photos / stop to stretch the legs and walk along the Beach. This isn't the softest sand in the area (for that I'd recommend pulling off to the side of the road further down the highway) but super nice to have the parking lot / tables to eat at.

One of my most favorite beach in all of Hawaii. Access to kayaks that take you to a mini island, one of which you see in the jurassic park the movies. And what's cool is there are rocks you can jump off into the ocean which makes the whole kayak experience worth while. The currents are a bit strong (maybe because it was ridiculously windy the day we were there) but manageable. What is great about this beach/park is that there is grass that sits in front of the sand/beach and it allows for a great picnic/sitting area. Especially for when you're just fed up with sand getting everywhere. Great family beach to give each family member an activity.

Lots of tourists stop there, most just take pictures and leave which is nice. Not all pay attention to keep space between themselves and other parties.

First time visit and found this to be a beautiful spot of Hawaii. Looks like it's a scene where most photographer's captures family pictures.

It's a nice park with lots of seeds all over the grass. There is a pretty mountain behind the park. The Ocean is not as blue as other beaches but still nice.
There are restrooms but were quite gross and no soap.

Total locals spot! There are numerous camping sections that have to be reserved! Great beach area. Unfortunately there were trade winds coming in the afternoon we were there.

Excellent guess services. Amazing views. Multiple options. Tour by truck, ATV, horse back, kayak or zipline. Can't wait for the next family trip.
