Lānaʻi Lookout reviews
13Beautiful but be safe if you go over the rock wall for that ultimate pic. Dangerous watching people on that side.
Beautiful lookout. Excellent view! See other islands. Many people were going beyond the wall. If you consider this be very careful as the wind can be strong and you don't want to lose your balance and go over the edge. There is not a ton of parking, but people do not stay too long so it turns over quickly.
Get the feel of the open Pacific Ocean in this scenic drive. There are several points where you can stop for pictures, with a few tucked-in, small beaches too. But beware the strong rip currents. Also, the lava cliffs are tempting and you'll see people beyond the danger signs. You'll have to decide if the risk is worth taking, but I wouldn't advise it. There are very strong, sudden winds that can make anyone lose their balance. Safety precautions cannot be emphasized enough.
Good hike. I gave 4 star not the hiking spot but where the parking spot was all the way to the beach.
Yes, everyone climbs over the rails and yes, it's worth going as far as you can stomach. The water is ridiculous, as are the crashing waves.
Such a beautiful lookout. We ventured out beyond the railing. It could definitely be dangerous with or without proper shoes because of sand on top of the rocky hill. If you're willing to take the risk, the pictures are magical.
Incredible views from this lookout. You can proceed down to the rocks at your own risk but once you do the pictures are amazing. Cool stop.
I'll make this quick and simple as we all gotta get that IG worthy pics.
This place is amazing. It offers breathtaking views and it's freeeeee!
Parking can be a challenge as this spot is popular.
The good news is that people only spend 10-20mins there. You can just wait around til a parking spot opens up.
If you can go all the way down, do it. It's worth it. Check my pictures
Drones are prohibited but I believe you can get away with a 20 second drone video.
Be very careful. The sand can be slippery going down. ️
Enjoy!
We drove to Hanauma Bay which turned out to be sold out. This scenic spot right passes Hanauma Bay is truly a surprise. What a view.
Amazing view. To sad that Hanama bay needs reservations now. But nonetheless we went to Hanola vove beach and lanai lookout as option B. It's prohibited to enter behind certain point, but there was a police nearby and there was a lot of tourists down there soo i guess it's ok?
This place was amazing the scenery alone is everything you're able to take the most beautiful pictures at this place
Gotta love the people completely ignoring the signs which read something along the lines of "Don't go past this point". Nice lookout spot though.
Nice spot to visit. There is a tunnel under the road to get down to the shore. Highly recommended.
