Lavaloha - Farm Tours reviews
16Nice tour with friendly people. The location is beautiful. Only feedback is that it would be cool if tourists could actually make a chocolate bar from scratch, something they did on the chocolate tour I did in Belize.
This was a very enjoyable tour. Great tour guide. Great chocolate. Well worth taking our time to do this.
Being a true chocoholic, I knew we had to take the tree to cholate guided tour. Jess was an outstanding guide. We learned so much about chocolate. And I learned that I thought I knew what good chocolate was. I was wrong. This is the the best chocolate I have ever had. Lavaloha has been the highlight of our trip. My only complaint is that I cannot rate higher that 5 stars
Great experience! Went out in the field, where Nick opened up a pod and let us taste a raw bean. Saw the beans drying and had many samples.
Excellent tour and tasting. Learned a lot about the whole process. Oh, and the ducks are awesome.
My husband, son and daughter-in-law visited a few weeks ago! The tour guide was wonderful! Very patient with all of our questions. I learned so much more than I was expecting! I highly recommend this tour!
Amazing chocolate tour with Jess! She was energetic and had a ton of personality. She took the time to answer our questions and taught us so much about the process of making chocolate. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Well worth the time, effort and money.
We had a wonderful experience at Lavaloha! Our tour guide Nick was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! We were surprised to taste how wonderful 70% cocoa chocolate could be! We learned it depends on the beans used to make the chocolate. The drive-in was delightful, and the farm was beautiful with a stunning view! We took pictures of the fat mallards in the sunken garden. We would definitely recommend Lavaloha!
They keep the site beautiful, and the guides are pleasant and informative. I live here and always take my guests from the mainland for a tour.
What a fantastic tour! From tree to chocolate bar. We got to taste the fruit fresh from the tree and many different delicious types at the end of the tour, including a dark chocolate coffee one. So so delicious! Our tour guide Jess was spunky and very knowledgeable. She clearly loves her job and is very good at it. Now if only they would add miniature horses. I promised Jess we would ask for them.
Enjoyable tour by Nick! I knew little to nothing about chocolate before the tour -other than being a prolific and long time connoisseur. Thanks for fitting me in! It made my day! ~ Lori from Atlanta GA
We took the tour with 2 kids under 3 and our whole family loved the tour! The chocolate was amazing and our tour guide was engaging and very informative!
Our guide was very nice & informative, we even learned some new things about chocolate & the process in making it. We sampled the raw form & the finished. We liked the finished form better. All in all it was a great place to visit.
Nick was a great tour guide, he was full of info and made it fun to listen. The view over looking the farm is to die for. Also enjoyed the fat compost chickens lol and the sunken garden!
The chocolate is amazing! And I have discriminating tastes for chocolate. Jess was a fantastic guide, informative, fun, and friendly.
We took our 4 year old and 8 year old and they loved it! The farm is beautiful and we learned a ton from Jess. I can’t wait to come back and see what else they have in store.
