Leilani's on the Beach reviews
38The best thing about Leilani's is the incredible views of Kaanapali Beach! The food is very good. Although you won't leave thinking it's the best meal you've had in Maui, you won't leave disappointed either. We had the mahi mahi tacos and the quinoa+strawberry salad with chicken - both were great. Try to make a reservation in advance if you can as it does get very busy, but out of the 3 main restaurants in this part of Kaanapali, Leilani's was the most accommodating for walk-in's. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly. Try not to miss out on experiencing this great restaurant during your stay!
Best food I had in my entire trip to Maui! The service was excellent too! Could go back multiple times, eat the same food and not get bored. Make sure to try the beach nachos and hummus plate! Not to forget the stunning views and cocktails to go along with it.
We loved the location and the view. Our service was great as well. I have to admit we did not enjoy the food so much.
Leilanis is an excellent restaurant with a superb Manager Jason Donez, and a wonderful staff. Great atmosphere and ambiance for sunset dinners. I recommend this restaurant 100% as you will certainly enjoy is tasty food and tropical drinks.

Great atmosphere and amazing food! Really delicious lava flows, and both the beef steak and ahi steak are top notch!
Very good meal. Everyone enjoyed their food and they were very nice about treating my sister well on her birthday!
Had fond memories of eating here 2 years ago, so we wanted to come back as I remember the fish tacos were the best on our trip, but that seems to have changed. Great views but chain quality food this time. My husband ordered the fish and chips and they were obviously burnt. Surprised they were even presented to my hubby at all. Happy hour was just ok. No great bargain.
Very nice place decent service. The portions were a little small, our appetizer came 2 minutes before the meals and was cold. The food was ok and the people were friendly. It felt like a dinner rush but they weren't that busy.
Chefs tasting menu was perfect portions if you are not used to the large American portions. Order before 5.30pm. Best to book table in advance. Hula Pie was an extra birthday surprise dessert - not to be missed. Service was exceptional. Roger, Helen & Olivia from New Zealand
Excellent choices in the menu. Well seasoned. Good friendly service. You may need to wait for a table even at lunch.
Went for the $14.95 pork plate lunch special. Really not very good. However, our server Nicola was great! I dropped an item at the table when leaving, and she ran down the beach to track me down and return it. Now that's service!
Tourist beware.
Cool spot. However, they do not honour their advertisements during holidays. Classic bait and switch after you sit down and order. No happy hour. No take out from regular menu.
Happy Hour starts at 3pm. Great prices. Food is delicious. Kids enjoyed the smoothies and pork sliders. Macadamia Nut Hummus and Veggie plate was amazing. Superb live music.
Clean restrooms, not crowded (Tuesday for lunch), reasonable prices. And dun ta da dun, refills on diet Coke.
Damn near 5 stars. Outstanding food (wife had mahi mahi and I had ahi sashimi). Great craft beer selections. Great sunset overlooking the Pacific. Expensive and you should make a reservation.
Nothing really stood out here, but I still enjoyed an evening dinner with the wifey. The restaurant looked really nice and I really enjoyed the open seating. I went at night, but I’m pretty sure during the day you’ll get awesome views of the beach. The food was okay. My burger was, well.just another burger. My wife got a lemon ravioli that wasn’t so great. Overall, great ambiance and fancy vibe! Food wasn’t up to par.
Known for their fish tacos but the pokeball was delicious as well. And you can't beat the seating is right near the beach.
Great early bird special 430-530 pm, a Chef's Table tasting. Pick one of 4 appetizers, 1 of 4 entrees and 1 of 2 desserts. All for $27. Quality of food similar to Fleetwoods but with a little smaller portions and lower prices. Beautiful view of the ocean. Those with mobility issues beware: far from the parking lot. There is a small elevator for those in need but otherwise a lot of steps for a restaurant.
Relaxing place next to the beach with good food options and drinks. Make sure to arrive early on busy days to get your name on the list because they don't take reservations.
The salmon was overcooked, and the noodle and fried rice sides taste similar to what you'd get from a Panda Express.
