Liliha Bakery, Honolulu HI

Very busy here and there was a queue for sit down meals. The Coco puffs here were so good. We tried all the flavours, but the Matcha and the original were the best! The poi mochi doughnut was also very delicious, and so bouncy in texture. A must have in Hawaii!

We chose this for our first dinner in Hawaii and it was wonderful. Everyone was super polite and helpful and the food was fabulous! Our server, John, was extremely sweet and helpful. It was a wonderful choice to fill our stomachs before going back to our hotel to crash after a long day of flying.

The place me and my husband went was filled with birds eating food from the plates the other people left in.they clearly didn’t cleaned up so that’s why all these birds were eating the food. The other people on the other table was also complaining about why nobody came there to get their order.
Our food came and my husband’s steak was completely raw and no meat only fat. We asked for them to change it and they brought the SAME piece of meat back! The worst place ever in Hawaii.

I was looking around the store and found it on the third floor inside Macy's... It was pretty much on the edge.

Just when I was already feeling full from the appetizer (I wouldn't call it that) bread, a giant loco moco and two giant banana pancakes arrived. As expected, since we are short on food, it seems good for two of us to have one

The Loco Moco sauce resembles gravy, giving me the feeling that it's an authentic American flavor. I was stunned by the size of the pancakes and cola, and felt as if I had come to America.

Naturally, I couldn't finish it all, so I was given a take-out bag to take home. Are you going to eat what you brought home?

You can’t go wrong here. Their pastries and baked goods are some of the best in the island. They all taste fresh and smell fresh.

Ordered Hamburger steak had a propane smoky taste. Bad start.oxtail soup and banana pancake was on point. Butter rolls were not fresh. Service was lacking. Waitress didn't even check on us. Had to flag another person for refill on drinks. Been disappointing with going out and eating. It seems everywhere is over priced and lacking service.

I liked this one better than the Waikiki store.
The guava jelly that came with the first bread was colored and crispy. (The Waikiki store has natural colors and you can see the fruit seeds.)
Overall, it's reasonably priced and satisfying.
My recommendation is the spinach salad & shrimp. Also includes fruits and nuts.

The food here is AMAZING! Came for breakfast and was not disappointed. Wish we could have eaten more. The ultimate waffle and the french toast were both so good. French toast is made with homemade sweet bread, too good to handle! Fairly busy but did not have to wait for a table on a weekday morning.

Absolutely wonderful for food and fairly priced variety of desserts. I bought 3 medium sized pastries and spent about $10. Comparatively, I went to Cookie Corner and bought 3 cookies and spent $10.

Liliha Bakery’s Denver Omelet is the worst omelet I’ve ever had. It was sloppily thrown together then scrambled and thrown on the plate with what appeared to be Kraft singles processed cheese. The egg was brown looking and the whole omelet was barely edible. If they can’t do breakfast right I would hate to see them attempt more complicated dishes. I’ll never eat there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Loco Moco: Tasteless. The sauce was thin, and the hamburger was dry and dry.
Oxtail Soup: The soup is delicious and has a good coriander flavor. The meat is soft and delicious.
Green Mix Salad: Just lettuce and ranch dressing.
Employee: Kind.

My favorite spot. I ordered loco moco it’s fried rice. It was tasty. We can buy break and Malasada there. This is in Macy’s Ala moana.

Very disappointed. If you local and dressed for the beach no go here. Better service at mcdonalds! They won't listen to your order, I ordered full stack Banana pancakes, and  a 2 eggs, link sausage, and coffee. I got regular pancakes instead.   Seen the waitress that took my order about 3 times, but she had time to check on everyone else around me.

The place is inside Macy's, which maps didn't specify.
The food sizes are bigger than I expected, I got a stack of 3 pancakes with bacon, which was enough to keep me full the whole morning. Iced coffee was refreshing.
A bit pricey but, as I said, the dish sizes are good enough.
Room temperature was a bit hot for me but nothing unbearable.
I will try the bakery later and update my review.

Located on the rooftop of Ala Moana Shopping Center.
It's easier to park your car if you go straight up to the top rather than on the ground floor.
I always only eat spam omelets here lol
It's also best to eat the puffs served as an appetizer and dip them in lilikoi jam.

The store is located at the very back of Waikiki.
It's inside the clothing department.
It's hard to understand.

The bakery items are wonderful! We purchased quite a few and loved them all. Our dinner wasn’t quite as great. My Mahi Mahi sandwich wasn’t the best. Not enough seasoning on the fish and so many sprouts, they were all I could taste. The potatoes were bland. My husband said the beef ribs were good.
