Mango bread I got for the first time was gently sweet and fluffy. I’d definitely try another one!

I had the most horrible experience on my vacation at this restaurant. I asked for a Katsu Chicken meal and it looked day old Katsu. I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. I suggest that everyone checks their food before they take it out to eat so they don’t get sick.

Rainbow bread is the bomb! Also sweet cinnamon bread. They have boxes you can get so you can ship it home or anywhere else you want!

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall but baked goods are delicious. Shortbread cookies and sweet bread do not disappoint.

My biggest issue is the lack of restroom facilities. They had a notice that because of the Americans with disabilities act they had no restrooms and the closest public restroom was up the block at Lincoln park. They have very good bread here.

Long time eatery with long time friends! The lows are wonderful with food, bread, and a whole Lotta hospitality! You gotta go!

Famous for Pickled Mango, Pickled Starfruit, Rainbow Bread (Guava, liliko'i, taro), Ulu bread, etc. A must visit for awesome eats! I swear I gain 5 pounds every time I come home. I took a box to take home full of goodies. I should have mailed it. You can take pickled fruits home if commercially made thru agriculture.

Went in while I was waiting for my laundry to wash, and was immediately greeted and the service was fast. Had a BLT which was amazing, got some cookies and tried their samples of rainbow bread. Super yummy! I'll be back for sure.

They have a special hot sauce you have to ask for when you get your food. It's delicious and addicting! They won't sell the hot sauce, so I just have to keep ordering the food.

They are famous for the rainbow bread. The hamburger buns are the real winner! If you are doing some grilling, these buns make every burger better.

This is where you get Rainbow bread and Coconut bread. Very nice people here. Bring cash. Extra charge for credit card.

Food quality and taste have gone downhill big time. Not the same as 10 to 15 years ago. Chicken Katsu was the best back in the day with a thin light crisp, very flavorful and fried to a nice golden color using panko flake style. Just like how a Japanese restaurant would prepare it. Now, the batter is thick, hard, (not panko way, more like mochiko chicken), overcooked, dark brown in color and tasted like eating fried thick tasteless flour dough. The chicken itself was bland and had no taste, no seasoning at all. Several tables felt sticky like a layer of grease was baked on. Had to use several wet wipes just to clean one table but even with that, the table still felt dirty. Wipes were filthy, dark brown/black dirt color upon cleaning the table. I guess they don't wipe tables, you have to clean it yourself. Even the register counter where you place your order and pay, felt greasy, dirty and sticky. Customer service was pleasant upon ordering. Very disappointed, couldn't eat it, had to throw it away as it was terrible.

Low International Foods is better than it looks. It's good old Hilo. Nice size plate lunches and a big menu for not a lot of dollars.

The bakery is good too. Great sweet bread and a real deal.

Only downside is no restrooms on site, there's a public restroom up the block at Lincoln Park.
