Delightful experience here! I don't have a ton to compare with to be honest, but we had a blast! There's so much to do on the plantation, we LOVED the train ride, the general friendly service, the unlimited cocktails! The food was.alright. As a vegetarian, I had food and ate it. Was it good? Let's just say I don't think they care that much about vegetarians! But I wasn't hungry after dinner. The Luau is delightful and entertaining. Checks all the boxes. Great parking. Again.the TRAIN. It was fun and I have and would recommend this place for a full evening of fun and entertainment.

Twenty years ago, my wife and I attended a beautiful, intimate lu'au. This year we returned with our kids and without a ton of research, attended the Kalamaku lu'au. Think Hawaii meets Walmart crowds, with Golden Corral food. There was no imu ceremony but there was an open bar and copious amounts of edible food that the 1k or so people in attendance were corralled to. I have to give credit to the performers and service folks - they did a great job. To be sure, some of this is on me as this wasn't my idea of a lu'au should be. That said, while I would have given 1 star for this mass-tourist-churning operation, my young kids loved it and would have given it 5 stars, so we'll average it out at 3. It's a little sad that more authentic lu'au experiences may be difficult to find as Hawaii tourism continues to ratchet up.

Cattle? No opening of pig. Cute vendors. Over 1000? People or so it seemed. Rushed. Foood eh. Had to ask for poi. No poi bread. Not what I was hoping for. Show however was great. If you could see over the 1000 heads and was lucky enough to get the better seat. Honestly thought I purchased the premium seat. I didn’t and overall. Disappointed would have given it 3 stars as it is mediocre but the show was nice

The experience just felt off. We got plastic beads, rather than a lei, we sat in the sun, although it was a covered area, the food was awful, and customers were more interested in the food and drink, rather than the lovely dancing. Maybe it’s just not my thing, but it was a huge disappointment.

Food was fine. No idea how traditional it was, but I didn't leave hungry. An open bar was included with our package and I'm sure that upped the price. The show was cool if a bit hard to follow along. I wish I could shake my butt like the dancers on stage.

Food was not that good but I guess that’s what you get when mass produced. No pig ceremony or at least one that was announced. The performance was very impressive though. You get seated either close to the action or not, but the side stages help.

A must have if you're visiting Kauai! Everyone was so friendly and seemed like they loved being there which made the whole experience. The dancers were fantastic, and the food was delicious. The location is beautiful, and super fun to explore!

We did the plantation owners dinner. Food and service was very good. We had a large group and they accommodated all of us seamlessly. The Luau was incredible and thankful for the story. Everyone from the booking agents to employees were friendly and welcoming.

We visited this Luau from an excursion from Norwegian cruise line. The venue is outside but in a covered space in case of rain the show is not impacted. The venue is pretty large, we paid for the tables closer to the stage and was not disappointed. They had no issue with me recording from my DSLR on a tripod as long as my tripod was not in the path of the performers in the aisles. Everybody was really nice, the chief of the tribe even gave a fist bump to my two kids while he kneeled off stage waiting for his next part.
I'm a picky eater so my views of the food is limited but I did enjoy the pork and watching them pull it out of the Imu.
If you're visiting here via cruise line just be aware it's a big place and takes up to 30 minutes after the show to get on a bus. Not the venues fault, just be aware.

It was super organized. Everything ran like clockwork. The location was beautiful. The food was divine. We even received a lei. The program and dancing were amazing! The employees were super nice. We enjoyed the craft market and the other things going on. A full evening of wonderful events.

This is a huge production and from beginning to end flawless. My family and I enjoyed the music, the songs, and hearing about the history of the original people of Hawaii thru story telling. The food was delicious and the vendors were great. This is a must-see experience.

I have only been to one other luau in Maui so of course, this is the only thing with which I have to compare. First, the entertainment portion of the luau was first class. Excellent costuming, performing, and singing. It was a professional touring Polynesian Group.

The servers were attentive. We arrived early and were encouraged to look around the facility and looked at several native-created crafts. The ones we saw were excellent. There was an open bar with both soft drinks and cocktails.

Dinner was buffet style and since there were hundreds of people, there were many stations to which you could go. The lines were really short. The food was what I would describe as lackluster. For the price we paid I thought it could have been much better. There was standard teriyaki chicken and some pulled pork. There was also some island fruit and chowmein. Some basic macaroni salad was also available. I was expecting a roasted pig presented to the crowd and the pig being honored for giving its life. This was pretty much a cafeteria-style meal. There was a standard garden salad available at the beginning of the mail. At the end there was a choice of dessert including a coconut pudding, a chocolate pastry, and tiny squares of pineapple upside down cake.

It was a very expensive event, so I was expecting more than a generic sort of Polynesian meal.

This event for us was also an introduction to our grandson to island culture and was where his great Grandfather was born thus, the meal portion was very disappointing.
