Maniniholo Dry Cave reviews
15Cool place to visit, but don't make the drive out there for just the cave, stay at the beach across the street after to make the drive worth it
There was no cell service inside the cave. There was no indoor lightning or seating, and my feet were covered in sand. The graffiti was offensive as it is not an accurate depiction of an actual human. Entry fee was expensive and collected by a big bellied fellow who promptly left his job after our entry. Can't retain employees.
Will come back when there is wifi.
This was a nice cave right off the side of the road. It starts off plenty tall to walk and towards the very end about 3 feet tall the entire table was filled with sand with areas that would drip water down at random the deeper people walked into the cave, the quieter they seem to get which was interesting.
Interesting cave right across from Tunnels beach. We just walked over there after a day at Tunnels. It took about 5-10 minutes just to walk around and check out. You can probably walk about 100 yards into the cave and that's it.
This natural phenomenon is located across from Haena Beach. It is beyond stunning and if you have a fear of enclosed spaces or dark spaces, stay at the entrance!
No staff on hand in the cave but the lifeguards at Haena Beach were very helpful, informative and funny! Great people all around.
Another must see in my opinion if ever you are fortunate enough to find yourself on the North side of Kauai. Stunning!
Dry "cave". Safe, clean, fairly even surface. Easy access from the street/beach. No need for a flashlight.
Food truck across from it. Free.
A unique cave at walking distance from the road. Very easy to go in and out. Not very deep but worth a look.
Interesting cave to walk in with the whole family. It was warm and silent inside with soft sand at our feet. Seems like a nice, cozy place for cave dwellers long ago. Definitely quieter than my noisy hotel last night!
The cave is just in front of the beach. Just stop by for few minutes if you would like to walk into the cave. It goes well deep inside.
The cave is cool but it isn’t that special at all and it is NOT worth the drive. When you enter the cave, it’s pretty open and there is an area to the left where you can go further but it’s eventually a dead end, nothing special. The drive there has so many one lane bridges and traffic moves really slow. There is also VERY limited parking at the cave, all in all, it’s really not worth the drive to be honest.
Tall enough ceiling to walk all the way to the back. Parking was tight as it was shared with nearby beach parking.
One of my favorite places on the island. I usually wander over a few times if possible. Caves are always best explored in seclusion on dark and stormy nights, right?: D
Very interesting to see. Bring a flashlight if you plan to visit. Only takes a few minutes to tour.
A very dim, sacred place to visit. It has a unique energy to it. Many legends talked about it. A definite stop to see.
Awesome cave and it's literally right off the road and across from the beach parking. This whole area is just jaw dropping but the cave is definitely worth it
